  1. Sorry Bs4 been supporting City for 50 years
  2. Would rather have the players than the money.
  3. Dont know how that remotely mirrors my thoughts on this matter.
  4. To be honest dont think I would be happy, but transfer prices have gone crazy and if a club were asking 20 mill for a player and Lansdown was prepared to pay it I'd say sign him up.
  5. If we were a prem team buying someone of Websters class for 20 mill would be very acceptable.
  6. Halalula, somebody else who feels the same.
  7. When the council offered us help Rovers moaned and said they should receive the same money the council were prepared to give us, so council had to back out from helping us, then they tried to buy the gate for a knockdown price as they knew we were desperate for money. We all know what happened next with the 8 players tearing up there contracts. But in our moment of despair the gas vultures were hovering.
  8. Did you go through 82, when they tried to take Ashton gate of us, dont think so or you would hate them too. No I dont think that but get upset when someone accuses me as a Gas head.
  9. Obviously dont hate Rovers like I do.
  10. Think we will find it hard to get someone in with Websters quality, but yes suppose so.
  11. Cheered up a bit now, Gas losing 1-0.
  12. I'm a fan of quality footballers in a team playing quality football and really enjoyed Websters performances, I've supported them from Div 1 to Div 4 and some of the football I've seen has been dire.
  13. Bloody joke mate I've supported city for50 years, seen them play in the top division, so no not gas. Just cant see how people can be happy we've sold the best centre half ever to play for City, I can understand the money side of it but I'm gutted I wont get to see Webster again in a city shirt.
  14. Cant see any achievement of note there.
  15. So by selling all our best players we will achieve something of note.
  16. Would still rather he stayed and we didnt receive the money.
  17. If your not feeling a bit down about Webster leaving you dont share the same passion I do for Bristol City, we all knew it was going to happen but still feel gutted.
  18. No that's not the case, but it has put a bit of a dampener on it, we all know we work one transfer window ahead, so would have a long list of replacements which we will go through, just think the timing of Websters sale is a bit unfortunate on the eve of tomorrow's match and if it's at all possible to make a signing we should be pulling out all the stops.
  19. Dont see why not, Ashton deals with transfers so shouldn't make any difference. We really need a boost before Sunday, ok the player wont be able to play, but introduce to crowd before kick off and give everyone a boost.
  20. Think we really need to announce at least 1 new signing by tomorrow. Most fans are gutted to loose Webster and the whole club needs a shot in the arm, come on City pull one out before Sunday to lift the gloom.
  21. If Baker wasn't so injury prone then yes, and Wright is right footed, need a natural left sided defender.
  22. Personally I would like to see Hector from Chelsea, had a good season at Sheff Weds and with our Chelsea contacts should be doable.
