  1. Sometimes you wonder why Baker is so injury prone ... then you watch him launch himself at everything that moves. I'm not going to complain, can't teach that kind of commitment. Long may he remain injury free. Solid again
  2. It was actually Korey that went in high I thought? Was the landing that looked rough to me; knee almost looked like it buckled underneath him
  3. Some officials I get frustrated at but this is laughable
  4. Suffered an ACL/LCL tear at 19 with QPR forced me to quit, have since done it twice over. Any player able to come back from it earns my respect a vastly overlooked injury, especially its recovery requirements.
  5. How people on this forum can spot wright is the weak link this game and coaching staff can't baffles me.
  6. If he doesnt reply feel free to drop me a PM i live in the area.
  7. I live in Reading so can say now if you are wearing colours or they suspect you are an away fan aside from the Three Guineas (Outside the ground) & Gateway (31 Greyfriars Rd, Reading RG1 1PA - Just further down the road to the station & Maybe Pavlovs Dog 21-23 St Mary's Butts, Reading, RG1 2LN) all pubs in the town centre will check tickets before the games and wont allow away fans in if in groups (might get away if you are 1/2). To also note about the buses its cheaper to get a taxi if you are in a group of 3/4 or more than to get the buses.
  8. I would be interested, Live in Reading so away games are kind of my thing
  9. My view of it was Wright was made captain as flint was seen as on his way out and his appointment was prior to Baker coming in; hindsight makes it look an odder pick than it may of actually been
  10. The issue I have had with city for years, years and years when teams attack us we back off for 30 yards; even if bryan couldn't/didn't want to make the challenge there is two (maybe 3?) backing off someone just clatter him.
  11. If you saw the state of Reading's pitch you wouldn't complain
  12. Played County for Berkshire, QPR Academy between 16-18 .. tore my ACL/ruptured my LCL and dislocated my kneecap in one go, tried to make a comeback with Aldershot, never felt the same; was also told by at least 3 specialists that I shouldn't long term be playing or that my knee wouldn't be able to manage it played a massive psychological part so "retired" just before 20. Haven't kicked a competitive ball since then. Turn 27 in April.
  13. Don't get me wrong I would snatch your hand off for 3rd at this stage of the season if handed to me at the start. Mags needs to be dropped period; his performances of late have been shocking.
  14. Not sure he blamed us directly but he stated that he was given a flat by Spurs on his own with no guidance/monitoring (by Spurs or us) within walking distance of casino's/bars.
