  1. Deary me! Just being realistic. Of course we have a chance but there's a gulf in money between the Championship and the Premier League. Paradoxically, its losing two of our most influential players to suspension rather than the opposition being able to field a stronger side that concerns me. So they will be stronger because of the forty or so players they can call on where as we will become weaker because we have to replace Gardiner Hickman and Cam Pring. Is that spirited enough for you?
  2. Unlike the sags booking their scouse hotel rooms, Notts forest will have more 1st team players back from the AFCON so will be stronger and we will also be further weakened and be without the suspended TGH and Cam Pring so the chances of progressing are remote. We had our chance in the first match but couldn't take it.
  3. They are. They're playing in their yellow and green kit, a one off special. They have history of lending their kit to other teams.
  4. Gaslogic: Don't let plain facts get in the way of the truth.
  5. I thought he was a typical Premier league referee, inconsistent and baffling. He booked Pring for his first foul yet allows a Notts forest player to tackle from behind and go through one of our players. A clear booking. He delayed blowing his whistle after a foul was committed on several occasions like he was waiting for VAR to do his job for him. Poor.
  6. Build it and they wont be able to give away the seats
  7. We may mock [often] but "windy" is a consideration [& its not the backdraft they experience pulling out of their nan's rear] all those temporary tenty structures and white plastic chairs blowing around quicker than Chris Martin running down the wing must be quite scary.
  8. Truth is he'd stick Pele on the bench and start Cainey up front.
  9. In all honesty I think its good we have a former players association, its about time. I do wonder though whether in 30 years time we'll be flying in Ivan Testimitanu, Famara Dhiedhiou or Hörður Magnússon from Moldova, Iceland or Timbuctu for an impromptu cheer around the pitch. How on earth will they find or even locate them?
  10. They're all tough in the Championship. I would be more than happy with a point at Cov but that will be really tough. As people have said, leeds tend to rub our noses in it. We have a chance against Boro although I'm sure Luke Ayling will be right up for that one. Saints are on a roll so that will be extremely difficult. Playing Cov on the Tuesday and then leeds on the Friday is a bit of a tall ask. We really could do with the likes of Naismith coming back. So 4 points and I would be mid table realistic happy & not pie in the sky directors play off happy.
  11. As someone famous once said, you won't win anything with kids
  12. well, I would be sad to see him go. I think the transition into coaching here would be a no brainer. He's been there seen it and done it. He's a very intelligent player and can still play albeit in a limited capacity. He's great with the young players and is a fan.
  13. Personally, in this day and age labelling people "black and white" is so wrong. They are either a good footballer or not and that's down to your own opinion.
  14. I am surprised it didn't hold up its gas on tour flag. Why on earth would you want your picture of you smiling next to a swastika. Incredibly poor taste.
  15. I'm saddened and appalled to here this. Especially for a former player. They is no place for racial abuse anywhere in today's multicultural society and really just underlines how backward and stupid some people are. So what if he was, so say, goading some home fans, there is absolutely no excuse.
  16. I thought it was above average tbf. Trying to play possession based football will, inevitably, affect some of the atmosphere. Fans are all the same, despite all of the modern day coaching technology, deep down we all want our side to attack from the off. Listening to the Arsenal game on the way in and that was really like a library and we are talking three times the crowd size. So this needs a bit of context & don't be too critical. Perhaps it really IS all about "box entries"!
  17. They are so incredibly fu5king tinpot, its unbelievable. Its as if they were identified at birth with a chromozone missing marking them out as a moron for life.
  18. Oh, I don't know, standing there you could count the fans having a pi55 on the cow shed wall or poking their nan. It's not as if any of the lemmings are toilet trained yet anyway.
  19. Very gracious. This is from someone who employs thugs turns a blind eye and has a very haphazard view on planning laws.
  20. Amazingly, football is a game! There is a way of winning and there is a way of losing. David Moyes could've moaned about the missing players, challenges, weather, referee, lack of VAR, but he didn't. He remained courteous and respectful. There are quite a number of Premier League managers who could learn a lot from him.
  21. I thought that too but be fair he must have just got out of his kebab van. Must've been a busy night with a whole 9,000 there.
  22. I was being kind. I thought it was that cheap tat kit they use. XXXXL [Lard ass] ordered but in reality its only XXXL
  23. "Gentlemen's relish sir?" No, I think I'll give it a miss, mate
