  1. Semenyo was definitely slow on the uptake at times when he could have won the ball had he chased and pressed. I think a 1 is harsh since I would usually reserve a 1 for a disastrous full game strewn with errors that have directly led to goals. That being said, he was lucky to get away with his silly attempt at a flick at the very end. He is worth persevering with but really needs to step up his game to show why he was so highly rated last season.
  2. Hesgoal has gone into a weird slow mode. Chinese hackers avenging the purging of their own commentator perhaps?
  3. Fantastic stuff. Let September 21st be known as OTIB’s ‘Independence Day’! Would it be possible to hide posts that contain quotes from ignored users entirely? This way both the ignored user and those replying to said ignored user with some form of abuse are hidden. Would trim the Afobe thread in half!
  4. The Daily Star makes The Sun look like the Financial Times.
  5. Kilkenny? Number 8? Damn you, you’ve just triggered my PTSD.
  6. This is a disaster. Both Afobe’s injury and this thread, I mean.
  7. Obviously a worry defensively, but it was such a fun game to watch and thankfully a far cry from scrappy 1-0 wins against Slovenia with nothing but a Wayne Rooney penalty separating both sides
  8. ‘But you own the club Steve’ I’ll always respect him for that interview and in particular that little moment. Seems an eternity ago now but he really represented us fans and was unafraid to ask tough questions in what was a dark time for the club. Can’t say I get where this meticulously-crafted vitriol comes from
  9. Absolute tit. There is no excuse for drink driving. I’m not too surprised that he acted in such an entitled way. As for this whole ‘interfere with medication’ rubbish; that shouldn’t matter even if true because the bottom line is you are operating something with the potential to be a massive death machine, while inebriated. Hope he gets what he deserves and that he can't buy his way out of it with a good lawyer.
  10. The worst thing is that he failed the fit and proper persons test and yet the EFL still let him buy the club. I would say they have a lot to answer for but we’ve already had enough of their woolly statements. It’s time they took action. No wonder Shaun Harvey ran away before this crisis came to its peak
  11. ‘Day-doo’ must be the most bastardised pronunciation of Fammy’s name I have ever heard, and there’s been some corkers before
  12. Too early to say for definite, but it’s reassuring to see how Afobe has started. Was apprehensive about his signing as it seemed like the last snog on the dancefloor but if he can continue to prove me wrong that would be great
  13. Your visit reminds me of when we were about to play Man City, and you made an account to go on their forum, find a topic about us, and basically try to be their friend and rip us down at any opportunity. How boring and unsatisfying must your life be to the point where that is a fun, amusing and worthwhile way to spend your day?
