Ex City striker Brett Pitman scores 7 goals in a match playing for shaftesbury in the wessex league over the weekend.. Didnt David Seal score 8 in a game once playing for our reserves ?
Seal scored a shedload in an FA Cup game for Mangotsfield against Falmouth, think it was 9/0, mate of mine was playing for Falmouth!!!

Just a typical game against Millwall. To big and strong for our lightweights.

All getting very feisty at Home Park with Jay Stansfield winding up the janners and getting pelted with bottles for his trouble. 1-2 Brum at HT
Yeah watching the game Brum should be out of sight, gifted Argyle a goal to let them back in it.

Agree
Although we lost the tie , our performances against Man City , who were ‘at it’ , unlike Man Ure , were much better IMO
United Memorable absolutely due to Bryan’s goal , a dramatic winner and a win !
But performance wise I put the Man City , particularly away , performances up there with our performances against that Leeds side in 74 and the two performances against a very good , fully focused , Forest side in 89
Not the one off game but drawing with Manu, beating Leeds drawing at Boro then beating Liverpool at home was a run of results that has been the best in my lifetime.
And no doubt the best i will ever see. Last game we all know about.

Clairs?
Back in the day (spent all my clubing days in Torquay and Paignton) the clubs up from the Yacht were the 400 club opposite the Harbour then the Compass Club about 10 doors up.
Compass was the best club in Torquay it was on 3 levels,if you were into soul music it was the place to be.
First time i got through the doors and up the stairs at 17yoa Stevie Wonder Superstition was banging out and i was hooked.
Clairs opened a few years later only 200 yds up the road from Compass decent venue mind.

Strangley after 15mins into the 2nd half i became more confident we would hold on for a win.
Ok Max made a couple of decent saves from their barrage of corners but thought we coped well.
They did play some decent stuff for sure, were easy on the eye.

Talk of protest on Saturday if the result is bad.
All hot air.
It won't happen.
So keep stumping up your money. They know that you will.
Keep facilitating what you come on here to rant about.
Well coming down Saturday, only our 5th game this season.
About 25 making the trip only 6 or 7 City fans so mainly a Christmas do.
Also meeting up with a Sunderland supporting mate of mine alongside a few of his Mackem mates.
Be it that i have supported this club since 66 i can't imagine removing my support will make a blind bit of difference.
So **** it. Loved Pearson finding it hard to warm to Manning but he's here now.
The team needs the fans Saturday for sure.

I’m going to that, my first time at Home Park despite Plymouth being my university City. I’ve promised my dad I’ll take him to all the cool student bars after the game, what could go wrong
Remember seeing us lose there under Wilson.
we were in the players bar after the game (we had a corporate thing)
we played shit and Wilson came in and told the players 1 drink and were off.Christian Roberts promptly filled his kit bag up with about 10 bottles of Bud and was ready for the trip back to Bristol.

Blimey- seems like you have hit on a theme tonight.
Trouble is- You're unable to put a grammatical sentence together.
When you attend school tomorrow, pay extra attention in your English lesson.
Happy to help.

You could argue we've been largely the better team for three games in a row, and taken one point.
Looked decent in the second half, Mehmetti did OK
That's it we look ok,tidy on the ball but never think were gona take the game by the scruff of the neck.

I’d take Rob Dickie over £8 million Kalas any day of the week
For sure, it's a sad thing that Dickie is by far and away is the most composed player we have.

Dosen't have to be a 4/0 hammering to be disappointing.
Can remember a News year Eve when i talked a load of lads to come up to the City from South Devon for the New years day game.
About 4 car loads of us came up ,it was in the third tier late 90s.
Cant even remember who we played but we were in the Atyeo and it was a ****** boring 0/0 .
As you can imagine the stick i got on the way back was off the scale.
