  1. Yeah, no way Palmer starts. His confidence must be shot after not getting a kick on Sunday while full backs and wingers got a go in midfield ahead of him. Still he must be used to being humiliated by Johnson. Apart from that i can't see LJ'S ego allowing him to start. Imagine Kasey tearing it up and setting up a goal or two Johnson even after everything would try to claim the credit.
  2. For a split second i thought that was us on Homers shirt.
  3. You always knew there home support would take em over the line.
  4. Oh well fun for 10 mins, spose the crowd are right behind them now.
  5. Mama told me not to come...Three Dog Night.
  6. Hang on, hang on. You can't go having a midfield like that, we need our game controllers in there.
  7. Groovin on a Sunday Afternoon...The Rascals.
  8. Think he gets off quite lightly. His Uncle Boris seems to take a lot more abuse on this forum!!!
  9. Physicality Umm. good luck with that against Cardiff, why would Jono try to match them when most of the team couldn't shield a ball from a baby Lamb. No doubt be his approach though., God forbid he tries to get us playing fast attacking, short passing football.
  10. Daphne could probably do a better job!!
  11. If Sheff Wed could manage to turn WBA over in their next game more than likely they will be above us!!
  12. I don't know about progress Dave, but could you see that side today playing that style of football, beating Cott's promotion wining side?
  13. Sir Lee great sound. TSOP was a sound, a big meaning as the Motown label was fading. The STAX and Atlantic label were still going strong. Also in the early 70s along side Motown the Invictus sound was going strong. Chairman of the board were big back in the day on Invictus.
  14. Ok Harry see your point.
  15. I Can see clearly now...Jonny Nash.
  16. Or in history it's very unlikely a team with 7 games to go with a negative goal difference makes the play offs. Probably Johnson Senior the last one. Or were we +1. ? We COULD make it for sure, but do you believe, apart from blind hope we will? A win tomorrow is a must. It annoys me that I think it's possible, half way would suit me now as I don't believe we have any chance of turning Brentford,WBA over. OK had another Thatchers now bring it on!!!
  17. Enjoyable listen. As always everything about opinion. Just hope our aspired coach doesn't pick Ian's midfield trio for tomorrows game.
  18. Yeah I didn't think that you were to bothered!!
  19. Stubbs had a fantastic voice could listen to him all night. Others to consider though not on the Motown label, were Ed Levern O'Jays . Back Stabbers (what an intro) Or my favourite Teddy Pendergrass. lead singer for Harold Melvin & the Bluenotes. Later to go on of coarse to sing on his own. Was paralysed in a car crash but came back to sing on stage for a while in his wheelchair. The sight of Teddy singing The Love I Lost at that time is truly heart tugging.
  20. The fact that stuff like I just called or Happy Birthday, are the Stevie sounds that get played on the radio sums it up. The man is up there in the top ten song writers of all time. As for Superstition, well walking into a nightclub with that intro blaring out, don't make em like it today.!!!
  21. Mention for David Ruffin,(Jimmys brother) and Eddie Kendrick mainstay of the Temps in the early days. Check out Gonna walk away from love,David Ruffin. When he's singing about the life he totally regrets.
  22. I see there is a lot of love on here now for Marlon. Now I thought he was a decent player. Pass the ball, play with his head up and put in a tackle when needed. but like most players we have he was limited. One of those players caught between two stools, had the skill and vision to create chances when played further up the pitch but when things break down doesn't have the pace to get back to a recovery position. Another player that when he's left and were playing Shit people miss. Don't know if he's fit but he was on the bench for Cardiff. If you ask me would we be any better wi
  23. first white person to have a hit on the Motown label. Here I go Again..Archie Bell & the Drells. Not Motown it was on the Atlantic label, fantastic soul sound all the same.
