  1. Heaven must have sent you...The Elgins.
  2. Please no. Keep him as long as you can manu. Apart from City winning nothing in football gives me more pleasure than manu in decline. Saying that manc are a joy to watch, hope they go on to win the Champions League this side would be worthy member of that club.
  3. My Grandson was there today (he's 7) and still wants to go to the Barnsley game. He was also at the Blackburn game.
  4. The time is nigh. A lot has been made of the lack of movement of our forwards, leaving Palmer (when he gets a kick) with statues up front. That's true. But more worrying for me is midfielders or full backs busting a gut steaming forward getting in his eyeline for a forward pass. Just doesn't happen. A lot on here have called for Barry Bannen to come in but he would be as redundant as Palmer with the lack of movement we have going forward. So many players frightened to gamble go outside, inside to receive a forward pass, then if they did have to wait for support. For us it's let's hold on to what weve got and see where that takes us. Cooper, Bell, Barnard, and many more would not fit into the ethos of Johnson's style of football. So for me it's time to say thanks Lee, you worked hard but time to go.
  5. You are the ultimate optimist will give you that. And your defence of anyone putting the City down in any shape or form is admirable.
  6. Hold back the Night...Tramps. Make that four.!!!
  7. No to many points on the board at this stage. Saying that I can't see where the next win will come from, certainly don't fancy us at Wigan.
  8. So what? If 10 teams have loosing records 10 teams have winning. So what are you getting at?
  9. Maybe some will take pleasure as Johnson struggles but that's probably in their nature. For me and the same for MOST it's about the City and if Johnson has to go so be it. If and when he departs from the gate it's time, he's had his go time to bring on the next. No glee from me as I have no faith in Lansdown picking the ideal replacement. Would like to see some German Dutch coach iv never heard of come in. No British coach out of work appeals. But if we could get a clone of Wilder that would be my choice.!!!
  10. My worry is Lansdown at this stage has already sanctioned all the money available for transfers. For me I wouldn't want Johnson to spend a penny more. I can't see him being sacked at this stage can see him being in place until the end of the season, unless we go into freefall and relegation threatens. Would like to see Steve keep his powder dry and save the money for a new replacement for Johnson at the end of the season. God, still wouldn't fill me with optimism given Lansdowns track record.
  11. Oh with you all the way.
  12. Had a lot to do with Brentford playing in cruse control for the majority of the game. Saving there energy for harder battles ahead. Pretty sure they could have stepped up a couple of gears if needed.
  13. He thought that without the **** ups in the first 15 mins we matched them had more penalty box entries and without that mad first 15 we would have won the game.
  14. He truly is. If that is what he really believes there is no hope.
  15. The thing with this let's be solid thing is patently not working. How many goals have we shipped in at home now? With this style of play nothing is going to change anytime soon.
  16. How do you know what state the club would be in if Johnson had never been appointed ?
  17. You Want It You Got It....Detroit Emeralds.
  18. So sad. RIP Gerry. My favourite player as a kid. Never be forgotten.
