  1. It's not about that though for most people.Never going to happen now, but if Warnock had come in and got us promoted to the top league 95% of our fans wouldn't be as precious as you.
  2. Tears on my Pillow...Johnny Nash.
  3. I'll Pick a Rose for my Rose...Marv Johnson.
  4. They are the best team in the league to be fair!!
  5. My Leeds supporting mate reckons they could be playing Swansea and Cardiff at Ashton Gate.
  6. Walk in the Night...Junior Walker & the All Stars.
  7. WBA v Coventry late 70s. If our game was called off early enough (local football) we would shoot of to a game somewhere. As much my choice would be City living in Devon I didn't always get the casting vote. So this particular day it was a trip to the Hawthorns witch I decided to give a miss. West Brom side that included Regis and Cunningham. Result WBA 7-0 Coventry. also in my wisdom turned down the chance of going to the England v Holland game in the Euros.
  8. Stop Her on Sight (S.O.S.) Edwin Star.
  9. So Sad The Song...Gladys Knight.
  10. Roadrunner...Junior Walker & the All Stars.
  11. Don't think I could whittle it down to 10. One I would have in though is the last ever Album from Curtis Mayfield. "New World Order" Most people would only have heard his 70's hit "Move On Up"
  12. happier than the morning sun....Stevie Wonder.
  13. Played against Colin Lee at schoolboy and youth football. Once played against his youth team (Torre Trojans) in a cup semi. We had a decent side with two of the Torbay school team in our side, they had the other 9. Don't need to tell you how that went.!!!
  14. Who said anything about getting pissed? And if anyone is getting pissed at home what the **** has it got to do with you.
  15. Magners. Not my cider of choice, but at 9quid for 18 cans at Asda then my 10% staff discount it has to be bought!!!!
  16. Been lucky enough to watch two finals live, Leeds v Chelsea and Leeds v Sunderland. At the 70 final as a 14yo I wanted Leeds to win but couldn't cheer their goals as I was stood in the middle of the Chelsea shed mob.!!!!!!
  17. Let's go Round Again...Average White Band.
  18. Can't remember City shirts being around in the late 60s. I had a full Leeds kit when I was a kid, think It was ordered from the Shoot football mag or maybe Goal.
  19. That maybe right, but just accept the fact that some of us preferred to watch the way football was played then.
