    What is the current mood on gaschat please? If City lost 2-0 at home  on the Saturday and the Tuesday, OTIB would be in meltdown. When I try accessing gaschat I'm met with;

    Good player for City, had ability to make the next step. Should have been taken out of the firing line by Mciness, instead kept him in & his confidence dropped off a Cliff. COYR

    I thought the same,Mcinnes should have left him out of the side for a while. He was getting unbelievable stick from fans and in my opinion didn’t deserve that.

    Afternoon all,

    Martin is my brother, and fought this vile disease with such bravery and determination, I couldn’t be any prouder. City was his life and had a fantastic network of friends who have been incredibly supportive of Martins battle. A stubborn so and so at times and did not let his diagnosis stop him. Martin was given 5 years when diagnosed nearly 12 years ago.

    Thank you for the kind messages, they will come as a huge comfort for myself and the family.

    So sorry for your loss Russel, Martin was a true inspiration in the way he fought "Tommy".He always had words of encouragement for me when my wife was suffering this horrid disease (she passed away 29th december)He really was a great bloke and well liked by a hell of a lot of people.Take some comfort in all of the comments from the guys on here as they are testament to what a great bloke he was!

    I can't imagine many bought their tickets and then decided they "couldn't attend"

    Most of the available seats were splashed all over the Lansdown and Dolman, literally 100s popping up over the last few days, they put the  capacity in the Atyeo down by a 1000 as well which was the main reason for not being a "sell out"

    I did just that bought my ticket and sold it back to the club, but then again i had a good reason to do so as my wife has just passed away!!

    A great friend of mine was taken ill yesterday morning and sadly passed away later in the day

    Chris was well known around Weston and frequently travelled with us to home and away games

    I'm not too proud to admit many tears have been shed over the past hours

    Christmas will never the same

    RIP x

    The last 3 games we’ve come out after half time very flat and certainly not on the front foot.

    It’s cost us 2 goals v Boro, the winner on Wednesday and the equaliser today. All scored between 45 and 60 minutes.

    Must do better, change where you get the half time oranges or something.

    Its not just the last 3 games though is it,most games we come out for the second half and the opposition have a good go at us and we always look like we might concede!

  9. Personally i dont like Pearson, but as he was manager of the club i support he got my full backing(for what its worth). There is no denying that under the circumstances he has done ok.Lansdown is definately the one who has done wrong here and Pearson has been used as a scapegoat for Lansdowns failures. Thanks Nige for what you have tried to achieve for Bristol City FC.
