  1. It’s a bit of both. Looking at today’s announcement specifically, you’re correct. The main benefit until now for domestic viewers to use Robins TV rather than red button for games which are available on both was that RTV was multi camera where as the red button coverage is a single camera with no replays, so a very basic service. From next season, EFL and Sky have agreed that Sky can do multi-camera with replays which for domestic viewers makes RTV / iFollow almost redundant (if you have access to red button) so they’ve made a decision on behalf of the clubs to scrap that option. The claim of over 1000 games mainly comes from the fact that red button is being extended to Leagues 1 and 2 as well as Carabao Cup - for us, very little is changing in this regard. However, away from the topic of red button, the number of Championship games on TV per weekend is increasing from 3 to 5 which does increase the likelihood of our games being moved from Saturday 3pm substantially which is the main concern people are having.
  2. Both should go as others have said, gone for Tinnion in the poll as that’s the most rotten part of the club right now, sacking Manning first and allowing BT to choose the next manager again would end in another disaster
  3. It’s insulting to hear / read this as a fan, beggars belief how out of touch he is. The bit around sticking together is particularly frustrating because that’s exactly what we had when Pearson was here, and while Manning didn’t make the decision to sack him he sure as hell has torn it apart
  4. I hope so, have been enjoying reading comments from FGR fans about Cotts, they love him there!
  5. Agreed that sacking Manning won’t fix the real problem at this football club which is the Lansdown family. Until they go, we’re getting nowhere near the Prem. But I really can’t understand what progress and improvement you think you saw today, it was dreadful
  6. This needs more noise, I’m so tired of the Lansdowns ownership at this point, the priorities are all wrong at this football club. For as long as they are in charge we are going nowhere, if anything their delusion is going to take us backwards again. They’ve had two attempts at getting us to the Premier League and failed both times, there’s absolutely no signs that that’s going to change because they don’t learn.
  7. Hard to disagree with this, Dickie has been outstanding all season, as has Zak of course.
  8. Last time we played them at home (2011) they came having scored in every one of their 20 league games up to that point and we became the first team to stop them from scoring. Gut feeling is trying to tell me that tomorrow we’ll be the team that ends their 25 match unbeaten run.
  9. Would you know about collecting tickets at the ground if not travelling on the club coaches? Bought our tickets yesterday but will be travelling up ourselves, wondering if we collect at the ticket office there or need to meet someone
  10. Good shout, yes they were there together
  11. Jesus ******* Christ, makes me feel sick that any supporter could hold a view like this.
  12. 2nd highest ever attendance at the New Den apparently, that's a great win
  13. Met Office were open about the fact they're only calling a storm due to the number of people expected to be travelling / camping / at festivals etc. today to raise awareness but it was never expected to be anything wildly out of the ordinary. The worst of it has been and gone
  14. Yeah he's injured (bacterial infection), no timeframe for a return
  15. Ahh I even looked for a comment to make sure I wasn’t repeating and still missed it ?
  16. Looks like there’s been a change on the five ticket limit for forwarding, now says you can forward for all matches without any limit mentioned.
  17. Yep I've got one if you're still after a code, will PM you
  18. Injuries at CB clearly hampered us this season but I feel it's worth pointing out that Sunderland did play the last 10 or so games with zero recognised CBs, and no more than one or two available at any time for most of the 2nd half of the season.
  19. 5 of the 10 weekend matches will be on Saturday at 12.30 by the sounds of it, although I guess it could still be the five L1 & L2 games leaving a Saturday 8pm slot for Champ possible. The above taken from here > https://www.efl.com/news/2023/may/efl-and-sky-sports-broadcast-rights-agreement/
  20. I think most of us would be surprised if that wasn’t the case tbf, it’s almost a given. The only unknown in terms of starting 11 is whether it’ll be Bell or Mehmeti.
  21. From my angle it looked like Atkinson had no desire on winning or even looking at where the ball is and his focus was solely on the Wigan player and pushing him out of the way, not sure the ref had much of a choice on that one sadly.
