  1. Looking for to listening to this. Bradley earned my respect the moment he faced the TV cameras in a post match interview after the notorious headbutt. He was contrite and emotional. Took tremendous courage and real backbone to do that, especially so soon after it happened. A real credit to himself and his upbringing.
  2. I seem to recall a 'Good luck with the new job Mr Holloway?' to a patient leaving a doctor's room too. After one of Holloway's one dismissal? Or did I dream that? Am if I'm dreaming of Doctors scripts, I need to see one myself!!
  3. Great work. Few of those young uns could do with seeing some clippers.
  4. Goal scoring, yes, but he always put a shift in. I liked him as a player. Marcus Stewart for me. Largely because of the massive build up.

    Match befrienders

Hi, Just wondered if the club organise or have links with any befriending services to assist supporters getting to see games? I work for a mental health charity and one of our service users is a keen City fan but I don't think he has ever been to a live game, though he listens avidly on the radio. He is a vulnerable adult so any service would need full DBS checks. His income is limited too so full admission would be a stretch, though he may qualify as disabled so any 'befriender' could get in as a carer. (I have only worked with him on one occasion so don't know his circumstances in detail). Great if there was something organised by the club and if this was subsidised. Would show the club's committment to inclusiveness. Many thanks

If only he'd been dating the pop star Pink. I could made the old joke about turning down an easy Pink and opting for a difficult Brown instead.

    Sad Day

Very sorry to hear that my fellow red. Sounds like you had a really close relationship with your dad and some great memories. It's gonna be tough, but I hope that knowing this will help you come to terms with your loss.
  8. Great to see the JPT final up on the your tube channel. It's would be great if we could have more. My son has Down Syndrome and is Bristol City mad. Losing the games is bad enough, but he is really frightened about the whole virus situation both for himself (he has a comprised immune system) and probably for me too (I have a compromised immune system too) and spent 4 months in hospital trying to get on top of the condition I have. We watched the recent City v Fulham game last night I'd recorded from Sky. This game was a brief escape from his worries. He calmed down and had to good night sleep. The first for a number of nights. It would be great is the club could put more live games up for him to watch on YouTube. Sod any copyright nonsense for the time-being. Anyone that prosecute in these times would be lynched, and rightly so. Days like these are a real opportunity for the club to show how much their supporters and the wide community mean to them. Many thanks.

    O'Dowda

I thought he was great today. I liked his interview in the lead up. Seems like he knows he has to grow up and take more responsibility. He hasn't really showed his best form for a long while now, so hopefully he'll put a decent with run of performances together now.
  10. Is that the leg he had surgery on or the other one?
  11. Great news. Him and Wells up top would be a real handful.
  12. Lovely interview. Looks like massengo's song may need an update in the future.. '...his hair is ******* missing' ?
  13. Fantastic dedication and great effort. A career in architecture awaits.
  14. Really rate Walsh. Love to see him back playing with us.
  15. That's all very well @spudski but surely something like Brentford's model isn't beyond us? Personally, I am not too bothered about the Prem but I'd like to see some good football. We haven't had that since our high energy game of the Man Utd season. This fell away because we didn't have the squad size to maintain it. We have that now with lots of players of similar ability. Yet, what we get is really turgid football, where players dwell too long on the ball, take too many touches and in recent week misplace numerous passes to opposition. I don't mind a misplaced pass when it's an adventurous/ambitious one forwards, but these have been misplaced supposedly 'safe' passes backwards to a teammate!! Right now it has all the hallmarks of the players being over coached again. It needs to be stripped back to basics and players given simple instructions to follow.
  16. Why's that then, mate? Is that just you or a general feeling amongst all Rovers fans? Thought he was a cult (think I spelt that right ) hero with your lot?
  17. He is obviously missing the runs of Adobe one the pitch, but it could be that as the two are so close Afobe's tragic loss is affecting him too. Looked like he wasn't with it at all against Millwall. Footballers get lots of down time, and something like that can become all consuming. Say what you like about LJs coaching ability, but he strikes me as a thoughtful decent human being so I would not expect this to be cited as a reason for his absence if this was the case. All conjecture of course. Szmodics probably deserved an outing too. Very difficult for him to make an instant impact with so little game time.
  18. I thought it was cross come shot. Not overly impressed. That flick was class though.
  19. Indeed. Feel slightly dirty knowing one of those type may have sat on MY seat when I'm not there!!
  20. You got away light. Anyone that likes golf or has any golf parafanalia should receive a life ban from all football grounds and matches IMHO.

    Adam Nagy

Agree apart from your last point. Unfortunately neither Weimann nor Diedhiou are fox in the box type players. That's nothing to do with tactics, they just don't gamble on getting into the spaces that Eliasson delivers to. Someone like Tammy would fill his boots from Eliasson's crosses. I thought Rhodri would get into those positions but somehow those types of crosses dried up once he came on.
