  1. I subscribe to sky and watch matches on their without emotion to one team or another. Its a feeling that has taken a while to get use to. I never thought that this would happen to me but finally I have shrug off those emotive ties which once saw me go to virtually all matches both home and away. Sad really
  2. I am sorry to say that was our first match this year v Cardiff and probably will be our last this season. There is Bob Hope of us buying a season ticket.
  3. Copies of the Cidereds Programme are available at the main entrances to the ground including a small number of previous home and away programmes. however the programme can be obtained by contacting Daren at info@bristolcityprogrammes.com or cidereds@bristolcityprogrammes.com Collectors of Bristol City programmes will be interested to note that copies of the cidereds covering the pre season friendlies at the RHPC are available for purchase from the above e mail address.
  4. Jerry simply has a mountain of work and is pretty much the only public facing employee of Bristol City (and probably Bristol Sport). His workload is overwhelming and those of us who have ever had more work than time in our jobs will completely understand the deeper issues here. Please be patient and give the fellow a break.
  5. Looks Great .... Looking forward to reading this Issue.
  6. Totally agree with Ffisherrich ... Reading the programme and Fanzine both before and after the match is part of my Football weekend. Well done to Mike, Darren and the rest of their team for restoring this essential part of the football experience. TBW has some valid points though, some people don't like to look back at the old things ... but most of us British love nostalgia. Look at the numbers of people who visit our castles, national trust properties, steam railways, museums etc. Technology, does move on but there is a place for the things we used to do and love. We could all sit at home and just watch Football on TV and the RED button!! but nothing beats going to the match, having a pie and a pint, getting your shirt, programme and Fanzine, singing the songs, cheering, booing, celebrating and commiserating. Its what makes football FOOTBALL - we love it win loose or draw, Promotion, mid table obscurity or relegation. Long may the soccer tribe continue despite the boring suits who would ruin OUR game.
  7. We had the absolute pleasure of sitting next to Rich for the last 5 or six seasons in the Lansdown Stand. He was a witty and Intelligent man and knew his football in and out. We are absolutely Gutted and will miss you loads. Rest in Peace Rich. From Steve and Nicky.
  8. Incident alert .... after the Huddersfield goal their player ran towards the Lansdown Stand Cupping his ears. Que a lot of abuse. However after all settled down a guy half way down the stand was livid with a lot of finger pointing at another fan a few rows behind him. This escalated to him talking to a steward. More stewards arrived and spoke to the erroneous guy. Meanwhile the guy who was offended was going appaplectic with rage. More stewards arrive and eventually they escorted the erroneous guy out. Whilst I did not hear what was said it appeared a racist slur was used. Well done to the City stewards for putting the zero tolerance rule into action.
  9. Nige ... I can confirm it's on the red button.
