  1. Keep in the squad: O’Leary, Vyner, Pring, Scott, HNM, Semenyo. Sell/Release: Wollacott, Moore Loan out the rest, although I could see any of Bell, Britton, Conway, Pearson and Janneh staying in and around the squad with pre seasons under their belt, especially if they keep improving. Bakinson needs a Champ/L1 promotion team loan, he lacks the consistency for me. Love Taylor Moore but I don’t see enough improvement sadly.
  2. Agreed. The fact that HNM, Semenyo, Bakinson and Vyner are the players that seem to care most and have arguably been the better players says it all. The fact that we need our kids to be the ones to lead my example tells you what a mess we are.
  3. Still can’t decide about Pearson, simply because I don’t know who would do well with this group of players. But I agree that we are in a massive, massive mess.
  4. Palmer doesn’t deserve to play if he thinks that sort of thing is okay. Moronic handball
  5. Wycombe strikers actually give a toss - that alone makes them look so much better than our two.
  6. It’s just a nickname, would you bat an eyelid if he said Bents or Fam? Think if people call him H, then they call him H.
  7. Pretty sure we all said similar under Cotts. Wasn’t until the last few (say ten?) games we started showing signs of a real positive turnaround.
  8. McInnes at 12/1 early better...could you imagine!
  9. And doesn’t that tell you, on a number of levels, just how bad that is as a reflection in our season?
  10. Am I right in thinking he’s actually a left footed CB, and not really an LB/LWB? If so then that really shows the promise in him, has an air of maturity in him and as others have said, did not look phased at all when Mendez Laing came on, really promising today.
  11. Nagy Bakinson and Palmer as a three is our most balanced midfield in my opinion. Allows each of them to do what they do best, and I thought all three stood out tonight. Bakinson though is going to be some player if he keeps improving at this rate.
  12. Agree with all the comments about him being similar to Cotts and we all know how that sorted us out. Out of all the “experienced” managers being mentioned he’d be my preference. He’s not my first choice but equally he’d be the tonic this club probably needs.
  13. For me Vyner has been very good, but shouldn’t be in midfield. I get why he was out there, he did well for about a game there, but he’s been pretty anonymous since and should be with Kalas at the back. Overall: Success. Bakinson and Semenyo have had MOTM games and have had the odd stinker too. With the later I feel that’s more because the club needs to settle on his position. I don’t think he’s a striker in a two, he’s 4-3-3 type guy, or you bring him off the bench to attack tired back lines. Bakinson is still quite raw, but even when he makes mistakes you can see he’s trying to be positi
  14. Getting a bit sick of some of the player abuse tbh, I’m not saying they’re blameless, but they look completely lost, there’s been no direction for months and to call it conference level tactics would be kind. These are players that have played a lot of championship games and will continue to do so if we moved them on (with the exception of I’d say about 7-8 in the squad). There’s a lot of players out of position (please stop playing Vyner in midfield, it’s becoming cruel), so there’s a lot of issues. We are relying on any of them to produce miracles to give us something from a game...the whole
