  1. They don’t have the money that’s being quoted
  2. So ironically I’m getting married same date. Can’t say it’s kicked off like that though. Got a couple scouse and spurs fans coming, question has been asked. The first dance is over by then and it’s really just party time. If the minority of them want to hide in the corner huddling around phones (no tv in the function area) then that’s up to them, it’s a party at the end of the day. That is hilarious mind.
  3. Fulham away 2016, absolute scenes when Tomlin put that free kick in and again when the final whistle went.
  4. Kammy was in the game and was very complimentary of us, said we were unlucky to be behind, didn’t think it was a red and also felt we were unfortunate as a whole.
  5. I support this team through and through. I just don’t see us winning against a clearly superior team, both in terms of table position and recent form. That’s called logic and being a realist.
  6. All big accusations from the OP and the only person to mention it, not seen on social media or anything. Frankly, I smell bs.
  7. Sport and money, always what it comes to. At least our way of working with options at least gives us more negotiating time. In the NFL COD would be franchise tagged if we were that desperate to keep him and keep negotiating, but that would cost a predetermined amount (usually a lot higher than what you’d be looking to pay) and there’s still no guarantee you don’t lose the player at the end of that year. At least this won’t be costly to the club, and come the summer if he wants out, our hand is still strong from a selling point of view. All good business as far as I can see.
  8. I’m the first to admit that I’m not a Watkins fan to the extent that I refer to him as our conference winger, however, ten minutes back from injury specifically sent out to just keep us steady, that’s a really over the top reaction.
  9. Let’s be honest here, we’ve been collectively whinging about the badge for years, people want the robin back others dont etc etc etc We have a chance to potentially put input into a new badge we could all (okay maybe not all but a majority) endorse. So how about we actually engage these ideas and get a good result? You know, instead of just crying about it all.
  10. Way better than previous weeks but no quality in the final third so far. Promising though.
  11. I’m not often too negative, but this is one of the worst opening 15 minutes i can remember since...probably the last time we played Rotherham ironically!
  12. Looked like a foul on hunt but should be putting his foot through it. So naive defensively today.
  13. All seemed reasonable until Kelly and Hegeler, bonkers.
  14. What a memorable week one. Browns Steelers tie, some good back and forth games, and from a personal point of view, Bucs spanking the Saints into next week. Almost as good as I felt this time last week post Blackburn!
  15. Fam, whilst looking good looked a little bit rusty around the edges. I’d be inclined to give him another half an hour off the bench, then sadly for Taylor he would be dropping to the bench. Let’s be honest he had done well, but you have to go with your best options, and I get the feeling that it will be Weimann and Fam. In fairness it’s still going to be a long season, and all three will combine in different ways as the squad needs to be utilised.
