The club has lost half a million pound a week, every week, for the last 10 years. I very much doubt there is a huge queue of people that desperate to lose their wealth, at such a spectacular pace.

So let's get this right .. VAR tells the ref he made a mistake not to give a red card for seriousfoul play, so he looks at it pitchside (many, many, times) then agreeds he made an error so changes his decision to red card. Then it's appealed and overturned, the FA now saying the ref made a mistake in sending the player off, despite not giving a red card initially and being correct in the first place. VAR is a shambles, officiating is at rock bottom.

Southampton fans in my experience are not that 'extra' Your kid is ten, fighting age. Let him throw some hands, character building.

Watford away Boxing Day - only half tickets sold
WolfOfWestStreet replied to Shauntaylor85's topic in Football Chat
Going to Watford to watch Bristol City lose seems pretty boring ngl. Have fun though, let us know how you get on. -
Social media, "influencers", the Dolmam Stand, Jon Lansdown, The Premier League, The Labour Party, Southville, Craft Beer, JD Sports, Bristol Rovers, Joey Barton, Religion.

This squad is so boring. No stars, no flair players, barely watchable. It's terrifying that the powers that be genuinely believe this team is capable of promotion. The young players are raw, the senior players are washed, and the manager is already losing the battle with his hairline. Club needs a fresh start and new leadership/ownership, until then I have absolutely no interest in coming back.

A lack of know how and quality is ass IMO. Being an honest bunch isn't really a complement is it -
Norwich City home match thread

From top to bottom this club is absolute ass -
It's almost as if the whole reasoning behind Pearsons dismissal was complete bullshit, but no-one bought that guff in the first place. I'd have way more respect for Lansdown if he just said he didn't get on with the man and didn't want him here anymore instead of just lying.

Liam Manning - CONFIRMED NEW HEAD COACH
WolfOfWestStreet replied to Lydered's topic in Football Chat
7th -20th will be perfectly acceptable. I'm of the opinion Pearson was sacked because they don't like him not because of the team performance. I doubt Liam Manning will be under any immediate pressure to be challenging. -
Liam Manning - CONFIRMED NEW HEAD COACH

If you're going to have one last go at it, do you really pick the bloke from Oxford? This doesn't fell like a last hurrah appointment to me. Lansdown is going nowhere -
Liam Manning - CONFIRMED NEW HEAD COACH
WolfOfWestStreet replied to Lydered's topic in Football Chat
I don't know why everyone is saying he needs to get promoted this season, John Landsdown will absolutley 100% backtrack on that with more guff about projects and processes and pillars and long term vision And people will lap it up. -
Liam Manning - CONFIRMED NEW HEAD COACH
WolfOfWestStreet replied to Lydered's topic in Football Chat
Exactly. There will be endless posts about "getting behind the team", "give the guy a chance", "go support the gas if you don't like it" ... the lansdowns have their own unpaid PR drones on here -
I for one enjoyed our last season in league one so I can see some positives

13 pages of bollocks, the last 3 are just a few old soaks bickering. Come back in a few days would be my advice.

Oh look everyone here's Michael Aspel, he's only been on here a day, but he's here to give everyone This is your F*cking Life for John Eustace.
-
Predicable, boring, pointless Three of the Bristol City "pillars" those clowns love to talk about do much. John Eustace is absolutely wasting his time coming here.
-
Spot on! The top candidates are employed and cost money to hire, we'll be fishing in the pond of recently sacked and the long term unemployed
-
Boggles my mind we have spare cash to hire a new manager and his whole backroom team but nothing in the pot for the players we so desperately need.

I used to think the fans that had supported the club, day in day out for 30-50 years were to be admired, but now I'm very sorry to say, I think you're all mentally ill. Honestly I don't look at that like a badge of honor anymore, just a waste of a life.

We've been protesting for a long time in that case

I'm as bemused by the decision to sack NP as the rest of us. But the football has been boring for a long time, I didn't renew my 13 years season ticket because of it. The fact i personally belive the football has been boring isn't NPs fault, he's not been backed, but we as fans have paid the price for Lansdowns negligence

Can't look at the bloke has a massive wart on his face. Puts me right off.

A sad day for Bristol City Football Club
