Any defence is made better by a competent midfield.
    We don’t have one.

And any defence is made better with a competent back four and reliable keeper, ultimately all of this talk don’t amount to a hill of beans while we have a manager who is well past his sell-by date

  2. Lots of complaints about our midfield but has anyone seen how many goals we’ve let in ? Only six teams in the division have let in more hence we have the second worse goal difference in the top 15

There are some within the camp too. There is a lad who I have heard about through friends of friends called Zac Ford. He plays for their U18's but is dyed in the wool City. I don't do Twitter, but I was shown his tweets, almost all about City, one begging for a striker just before the deadline, another sad face regarding Marlon leaving, etc. Even their own players prefer us.

Was there any need to give his name out?

They’re away to Coventry next week at St Andrews.  So the challenge is on.  Will they take more than we did today.  Their bollocks about having a greater away support than us is finally on the line.

Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see them take a couple of thousand, nice ground they wouldn’t of visited to often in the past, just up the road and a day out in the ‘second City’

Not relevant to this point but as a Leeds supporter can I just clarify the reason for the reduced allocation/empty seats in the away end yesterday? Did the police order this or was it Bristol City? Is this due to damage Leeds fans caused in a previous season or damage caused by Swansea fans or what exactly? Just wanting to confirm the reason, because obviously a lot of seats were covered up and unavailable.

It’s because Leeds, Villa and Swansea fans can’t behave themselves in larger numbers, bit unfair to all the other teams who do behave

  7. Pack was, as of most of last season shocking, how he is an outomatic pickis beyond me, and even when he is having such a poor game he still will not be substituted,I posted a month ago that we cannot afford to carry Pack for the season as we did last year but nothing seems to change, to see the way that Leeds passed and moved the ball with such accuracy and pace was way beyond what  Pack can do

From Galway’s craic to Bristol’s crack! Loved Galway when I went this year, serious drinking!

Galway seems a much smaller and compact version of Bristol, it certainly is a lively place with lovely people

Yes he’s got a twin brother. So are you in Galway too?

Welcome. So Bristol born and now lining in Eire? Sounds lovely.

Greg Cunningham territory I believe, not that he is highly thought of in these parts.

Funny story about Greg Cunningham, a few friends of mine came over for a weekend a couple of years ago, they were in a lively bar and heard someone loudly singing the ‘Flint song’ turned out it was Cunningham’s brother!

Is Cats really run for a profit? This would be a very strange decision if true.

Whereas I’m not convinced that the club should be subsiding the cost of away travel (the money needs to come from somewhere, and could be spent elsewhere), the club should definitely not be making a profit out of fans travelling away to watch their team.

i agree that it would be helpful for the SLO to confirm the position.

Of course they make a profit on away travel, have you seen the prices they charge?

City are the first mention in the Play-off contender category, and Sammie Szmodics is earmarked as one to watch.

Looks like alot of pundits are tipping us for the playoffs this year!

Never mind the play offs, some guy in the betting trade paper, the Racing Post, is tipping us to win it

It's nice to know that it still hurts you :)

It was a painful night in May. That aside that season was probably  my favourite ever following City, we played fantastic attacking football and were a joy to watch and there were some truly memorable (and infamous) away games that season, Swansea, Brum’ & Bolton we’re all crazy days out

In Germany for sure. Over here they wouldn't have a Scooby-Doo.

Note the official line from operating companies is not to endorse or promote split ticketing - it's lawful if not legal (most don't understand the subtle diffrence) as one is supposed to at point of travel have purchased a ticket to one's intended destination.

Don't get NTTDS started but take care if any of the change points involve 'set down' or 'pick up' only - those odd caveats on some timetables that could mean the follow on ticket isn't valid.

I’ve often found that the staff at TM ticket office haven’t a clue and i’ve ended up telling them how split ticketing works
