  1. Was reading an article about the recent racism and there was a historical accusation made of racism at City. Osei Sankofa, who was on loan at City in 2006, has alleged that bananas were placed under the locker of a fellow black player in the dressing room. Sankofa is now part of the Kick It Out campaign. The article this was alleged in contained racist language and the 'c' word in unedited form numerous times, so won't post whole article
  2. 1-0 to Colchester is the score, was an early goal.
  3. Notice Marinovic has been subbed in the Under 23's surely not another goalkeeping injury?
  4. Ryan Fredericks who probably had one of the shortest City careers, has sealed a move to West Ham from Fulham. Shame we couldn't keep hold of him, as seems he has really developed well. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44376841
  5. Guessing as there seems to have been no trouble, we will get a full allocation next time. The atmosphere and game were both very flat, for a derby.
  6. Have seen some sad news on Twitter that former Sunderland, Leeds, Man United and Republic of Ireland midfielder Liam Miller, has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of just 36. RIP
  7. There will be hundreds dotted around the Cardiff ends I imagine. There will be those who have got them there that are keeping quiet about it and it seems there are numbers here who have stated they have home end tickets. This is going to cause more disorder than giving us extra tickets. At least if all the City fans were in one place it is easier to manage. There is now the potential for pockets of trouble all around the stadium. Sadly I can't see this being a trouble free fixture as it currently stands. The club will hopefully be able to source more tickets to stop further fans from buying in home end. It the last thing that fans want to do but when even a large section of season ticket holders didn't even have a chance to buy a ticket, it bound to happen.
  8. I think the club will try and get more it was already stated they were taking it further, if they have any luck with it will be another matter.
  9. One game, he on the bench this afternoon
  10. Don't think he will want to return. He is an England international and that shows and we know he has the quality as well. May be worth LJ having a catch up chat or a phone call and to see just where he is as such. Things have changed massively with the club since he was last here in terms of what the club was and is now and I think there would be a lot better of a support network now. LJ, McAllister and Scotty Murray all know what he is capable of it is just what would have to be done to get him to those levels. Personally not sure if he in a position where he would even be interested but there is a hell of a player beneath the issues he has had.
  11. Yeah that too, he just played big time Charlie all night and made himself look stupid.
  12. Crouch has earnt respect through the years on and off the pitch, he is one of those players that people seem to have a lot of time for. The difference between him and Charlie Adam was on display last night. Crouch is one of those players that people seem to have respect for, always gave 100% for England, at least we didn't see the robot last night!
  13. I spent many a Saturday in the club room and inflatable pitch when it relocated to Dolman hall. Was one of things i used to enjoy most about going to football as a youngster. Is a real shame that the young supporters these days don't have an equivalent of Junior Reds.
  14. This is something that has affected my Grandad a lot. He used to enjoy being able to go in the Dolman bar have a couple of pints, sit down at a table and watch the football on the tv or have a chat and some food then go up to his seat. At 70 plus years old, it not really fair to expect him to have to stand up for an hour or longer before a game. He used to like the convenience of the Dolman Bar but now goes to another pub outside the ground. Funny thing is that tables and chairs are not allowed due to health and safety but the health and safety of those supporters who are unable to stand for a sustained period of time is now affected and makes it a less attractive pre match option.
