It is a fairly brave statement in its way but nothing short of boycotting the tournament will get the message across.

I think many people are very disillusioned. Corruption in football is not a new thing,but this tournament is taking it to an entirely new level.

Watching Maguire brings back painful memories of Liam Fontaine. Seemed a decent guy and played well for us at times but had a huge dip in form/confidence and was then given the captaincy which really seemed to compound his problems when he really needed some time out.
