  1. So many ex City players there tonight.Fast forward 20 years and that could be the fewers entire starting eleven out there tonight.
  2. Went last year.It was quite good fun in a daft over the top American way.Havent really been tempted to go back but glad I gave it a go.Pitbulls lost that night,1-7!
  3. Should have just kicked the tyre on your tractor.
  4. Thanks RR.Worked for me and you can go back to the start of the game.
  5. Glad to hear that NR.SC should always be welcome at Ashton Gate.
  6. Didn't leave us on the best of terms so very much doubt it.
  7. Bit like football.
  8. Also very good at knowing just how much he could get away with when it came to referees.
  9. I don't know he was like off the pitch, but on it Louis was a great player for us and to be honest, I expect he is a little bit embarrassed about how things finished up.Not really his fault though.
  10. I think I have told this story on here before, however, several years ago when my kids were still at school (6th form),Henry Winkler,(The Fonz),was visiting their school as part of the reading project he is very passionate about. I was on the point of exploding with excitement when they both told me they weren't interested and indeed they didn't bother going.I still haven't forgiven them after all these years!
  11. I can remember when you could get him for 10p. And he was twice as big then!
  12. Why don't they just let in the thousands that will no doubt be locked out in the car park?
  13. You are right up to a point. I agree it was pretty ridiculous and does just highlight years of underachievement. For some it was just an excuse to have a bit of fun.A largish part of the crowd chose to take the opportunity and put on a display with a bit of noise and colour which for some would have added to the atmosphere and enjoyment of their matchday. We all love the club even though we don't have too much in the way of achievements. The lack of trophies doesn’t lessen my love for the club and I don’t feel we need to validate ourselves to supporters of bigger, more successful clubs,of which there are many.I can see why people think it was over the top,I actually agree, but I still feel it was harmless enough.
  14. With the greatest respect does anyone else think.we are taking all of this way too seriously? We are a very mediocre club.No one else gives a rats arse about us and so what?.My self deprecating sense of humour actually finds the whole thing pretty hilarious.
  15. Don't forget our LDV,JPT,WHATEVER ELSE THEY WERE CALLED wins.
  16. Why not?Probably won't have anything else to celebrate.
  17. Seems pretty harmless to me.Admit it's not like we one the cup but plenty including me moan about general lack of atmosphere at football nowadays so well done to everyone in the South Stand for trying to create something out of the usual. When you haven't got anything big to celebrate, why not have a bit of harmless fun with the little things. Who cares what anyone else thinks?
  18. A few years ago I would probably have agreed with you. However these days.............
  19. Kind of defeats the object if you can't access them. I get there is the chance of someone nicking one " for a laugh " if they are not secured somehow.
  20. Thanks for the info Spud.I will try out your theory with the defibrillator on the Co op wall.Just need a willing volunteer/victim now!
  21. The best bit is that even though it would have been extremely funny if they didn't get planning permission, it is even funnier that they did and this is the best they could come up with.
  22. I guess I am speaking for most people that dislike the central because we feel the badge should aways be placed above your heart
  23. Got to be honest, I thought he should have been subbed when he got the yellow. Fair play to him though he toned it down a bit after his booking.
