  1. It's incredible from them, but equally sickening at the same time. Will it ever be us? Probably not, at least not for a long long time.
  2. Big test today, we need to start carrying performances over and continue where we left off against Leicester. Lose in the manner we did against QPR/ Shef Wed and it'll all be for nothing.
  3. Brilliant performance today, the players were really up for it. We must now carry this performance through to Monday, and onto the end of the season.
  4. I want change, but can never agree with this mindset. I'm a Bristol city fan first and foremost, I want us to win every game
  5. So the general consensus is if we lose the next two then Manning is gone. What I'm concerned about is this doesn't mean a restructure above, we can't have a hierarchy of those unqualified learning on the job. It's imperative to recruit experienced heads in the positions of DoF and CEO. If this does not happen then we will be no further.
  6. Where have you seen about Steve being around?
  7. Yet a other astonishing example of someone who should've been given the boot long ago!
  8. He should never have been promoted from his role within the Academy, where he was doing well. He shouldn't be sitting at the big table.
  9. I think they'll be in for a rude awakening this week, I for one will be holding fire on renewing, and so are many people that I know, people that have been going for decades.
  10. The sad truth is the more time we've had "on the grass" at the HPC the worse we've got under Mr Manning
  11. How bad do things need to get for actual change to happen here, Manning, Tinnion, JL, the lot. The club is in ******* tatters and it's beyond infuriating given the corner we were turning at the start of the season.
  12. I expect we'll have a special pre match celebration for it in ten years, with an anniversary shirt to boot.
  13. First time I'm probably not going to renew where the reason is city related...so disappointed with the way the club is being run.
  14. So you don't think that's where we should be right now, had they bit made the ludicrous decision to sack a man who had sailed the ship through very rocky waters, keeping us in the division when many wouldn't of. A man who has heaps of experience in the game, clearly guiding us in the right direction?
  15. Unbelievable. What a tag line to go with to attract new players to the club "we want to be ten points better off in 12 months". Well I'll tell you what Tinnion, we should be ten points better off right now, and I'd put good money on Pearson being able to do that if he wasn't given the unjust boot he was! Clowns!!
  16. Thank Christ for that, better second half, not that it could've been any worse!
  17. Dreading this one. Hopefully we can pull off a shock win.
  18. Embarrassing. No other words for it.
  19. With all due respect, supporters are all at different points of their lives. Whilst I wasn't by any means young at the point of McInnes, I wasn't old enough to notice or care about the bigger picture. Whilst there was much wrong with the LJ era, you can't deny we did play some very nice football at times, especially around the time of 17/18. This coupled with the redevelopment, it felt good to be a Bristol city fan. Furthermore, the appointment of Pearson was Lansdown's appointment, and one that surprised me (in a good way). But having more awareness of what goes on outside of the pitch over the last 5 or so years, and the head scratching appointments at board level, the sacking of Nigel and appointment of the ultimately disappointing Manning has proven to be the final straw.
  20. I've been a long term supporter of what Steve has done for this club, but it's these recent months which has changed my stance, and probably for good. There's no doubt the man has done fantastic things for our club off the field, but he hasn't got a clue on how to create a winning ethos. Results on the field are the most important, and his history of decision making hasn't been good enough. For the first time I'm actually looking forward to the day we get sold, it's time to roll the dice.
  21. This is just utter utterly disappointing. Two sides in the bottom three have out thought us, we have zero creativity. We are a team that only has one plan, and when that doesn't work then we have nothing to fall back on. I'm sorry, but to me I have seen nothing from Manning to suggest he can take us to the next level. It'll be another wasted summer, we'll get to October and he'll get the boot, rinse and repeat for our board to make yet another howler of a decision.
  22. If we play anything like we did against QPR then we're not going to come away with anything. That being said, as others have mentioned, Wednesday will need to go for it today, which will hopefully play into our style of play. 1-2 city
  23. Hard to believe our injury track record in recent times..
