  1. Biggest superspreader event of the year
  2. The entrance foyer, the spin the wheel thing is how the players decide on the amount of a fine is to be paid (money goes into the kitty for the end of season do I think) boot room, cryo-room, gym, pool and all changing rooms are named after a club legend. All very slick.
  3. Think so. Also other circumstances could also mean that could happen too.
  4. I did chuckle. The immature nause that I am. Thought that was ripe for an accidental mispronunciation.
  5. Have read about this before and for all the massive PR onslaught that accompanied both training facilities opening (world class etc etc*) I really don't understand why the Rugby only had a half-pitch installed under the roof. Surely if you're doing it, do it bloody properly. *As good as the RHPC is, if that's world class (or whatever guff was spouted at the time) I'm Lionel Messi
  6. Or maybe even Nagy? Sure I saw something recently about him being a possible transfer target having had a good spell with Pisa since we let him go
  7. I didn't but things like that can only help inspire the younger age-groups - definitely a huge advantage of all being in the same place.
  8. I guess it's just nice to see the environment the club have provided for where the players pretty much spend all their non-matchday time. Very bright & spacious, all needs seem to be catered for but I wouldn't say it was "luxurious" - but from a functional perspective you're going about your job in comfortable & well designed surroundings. Sounds like the fact that all age groups from U9s train there too (I think that's what they said, anyway) it sounds like the club (Men's & Women's) is much more "together" and that can only be a good thing I'd say.
  9. We went last night & I have to say fair play to the club as it was pretty darned good. Greeted by Jerry with a brief appearance from Richard Gould and pretty much access all areas being guided around by Jerry, who was as candid as ever & gave us plenty of time to take photos etc etc I know it was all sold out this time round but if you get the chance again, I'd definitely recommend it. Our 9 year old son (who's pretty much infatuated with all things City) came out buzzing. Jerry also said they're looking at doing Stadium Tours on certain days in August so keep your eyes peeled for those being released. Genuinely well done City - a great way to keep the young 'uns - and us old 'uns - happy.
  10. Yeah we could play the round-ball game from 4th Form onwards* (confusingly they changed the year names after my 2nd year so I went 3rd Form, 4th Form, 3rd Form, 4th Form, 5th Form *previously the 4th was called lower Removes & the 5th Removes) but a few of us had kept playing for a youth team outside of school anyway, so we didn't lose what little skill we had! I remember once we did get the chance to play, I played for the school and hilights included winning down at Millfield and any game v. Cotham was always hotly contested! Good times (eventually!)
  11. Aaaaaah my old house! I’m pretty sure that when I arrived in Rolling as a fresh faced 3rd former (as the 1st year in the Upper School was known) we had absolutely zero “schooling” or understanding about how to play rugby (no football for three whole years) and were just made to play and that was that.
  12. Just back from the HPC tour and Jerry T said the only 1st Teamers still in Bristol are Martin and Bakinson
  13. You should see the state of his Only Fans . . .
  14. I saw the pic! Great to see you lot all together!
  15. Another lazy evening in the garden for us then! Glad you all had a great time Just called "The Marsh" locally. Nice little park as it goes.
  16. He is an absolute bellend. Best off sticking to snooker.
  17. Why don't we just chant "Brrrrrriiiiistol" like the egg-chasers?
  18. You can’t base him “making it” here on a potential partnership with just one other bloke though, can you? It takes more than that and yes, it showed promise, but form/rotation/injuries will always dictate that can’t always be a foregone conclusion.
  19. It’s like death by a thousand cuts, this sorry saga. It’s clear they’ve got no money, no ground and no chance. The EFL have been strung along for far too long now, it’s time to put them out of their misery. The EFL’s credibility tank is running on fumes now.
  20. Not quite; the worst signing we ever made was the one who bought him from Chelsea.
  21. https://www.bristol247.com/news-and-features/news/wapping-wharf-shipping-containers-replaced-permanent-buildings/ It was only ever a temporary thing & there seems a degree of confidence from existing businesses that it could be even better - change is a bugger, mind.
