However the idea that there is no Home End at all is much worse. We play so often toward an empty stand. While offering the likes of <name club here> the ability to simultaneously play towards the away support could only happen at bloody Bristol City.

There is a home end - the South Stand - surely? Plus the amount of time we pass the ball sideways we're more often kicking towards the Lansdown or Dolman stands anyway.

This whole "standing creates a better atmosphere" is a myth anyway. Equally, atmosphere only really matters to the fans, not the players.

Why on earth do you say that, unless it is to spend the entire game antagonising them ?

God it's soul destroying watching grown men gesturing at the away fans in a "come on then" style. It's laughably pathetic.

Downsy is kind of annoying I guess but tbh I just tune him out, and I do that for basically all the stadium announcers and mute the half time chat on RobinsTV.

I don't really understand why people get so worked up about him, he has zero effect on my enjoyment of the game.

Oh you’ve never had to endure Dancing Simba Cam at the rugby then!

Had my first experience of Pasture last night....decided to go there on the good reviews on here! Didn't disappoint! Was chomping through the steak, then a certain Zak Vyner was sat on the table next to us.

Getting a reservation at a decent time is nigh on impossible las time I looked.

Pretty sure that will be the way it goes, rather than lowering the price for the family area in the Lansdown; they'll look to price kids out of the South Stand.

The problem with that area being the family stand is the amount of bloody steps to get up there!

Yeah, wasn’t trying to second guess Manning, and as you say he seems to try to counter out opponent rather than impose our game on them.

    Sounds just like LJ.

And nor do I. And quite importantly I’m not sure SL would if we had to jettison Liam. I think the decision would go out of Brian’s hands pending him being busted down to academy or sacked himself due to how wrong he got this one.

Not sure I’d trust SL to get it right either mind!

We are in quite the pickle, really, aren't we.

Owner, Chairman, DoF & Manager all completely bloody useless.

Manning is another LJ. All about him and throws players under the bus rather than take responsibility.

This really boils my piss. Any Manager/Head Coach worth their salt knows this is totally counter-productive. You keep this shit to the dressing room (as a collective) or face to face for individuals.

It's a sure fire trait of inexperience & insecurity along with rank bad management. Manning needs to seriously up his game off the pitch as well as on it.

I wouldn’t put Weimann in the same bracket as Ian Botham, personally

Quite. Beefy only managed just the single goal in his entire footballing career.

Is Mehmetti the new Weimann? As in won't be dropped so the rest of the team have to fit around him? Hope not.

Weimann was a great all-rounder and usually a dead cert to be in the starting XI. Mr Reliable if you will .

Mehmeti is nowhere near that level. Arguably never will be, either.
