  1. Yeah done both quite a few times. Decent places. I think they used to have Pata Negra on Corn St too but think that closed a while ago
  2. That would be worth seeing!
  3. Went with 'er indoors at the weekend. Train up& back. Stayed in Stratford. Gig friday night. Saturday at leisure. Absolutely bloody loved it. Drinks & Food not outrageously priced and the venue was very clean & didn't feel too claustrophobic as some places can. I would go back in a heartbeat. Absolutely recommended.
  4. The turning for the Orchard/SS Great Britain is before the bus gate so you can still drive to the Orchard From BCC : The bus gate will be installed immediately to the east of Gas Ferry Road, so cars can travel eastbound on Cumberland Road up to this point, which also means access by road to the SS Great Britain will be retained from both directions Cumberland Road stabilisation and bus gate update (bristol.gov.uk)
  5. Always like Sheedy but probably best for all parties that he crosses back over the bridge.
  6. Always found the Ox very reliable. Lovely & atmospheric down there too.
  7. Until they announce the remaining acts, they ain't selling many more tickets. What's announced so far is a bit underwhelming. Needs the next tranche of acts to be something a bit different and more relevant.
  8. We're a front foot, top-6, promotion chasing team. I predict 5 wins from those 4 games.
  9. I had it! This has absolutely made my day. Thankyou so much for posting this. COYR
  10. It's effective closure now just loads more and more traffic onto Coronation Rd on the opposite side of the cut.
  11. If that was the worst language you picked up from it you did well.
  12. Just a quick FYI - there are roadworks on Winterstoke Rd outside Imperial. Traffic lights causing queues alreday.
  13. Only if by some bizarre reason that the ghost of Bruce Forsyth has suddenly become their manager. . .
  14. Capacity crown in BS3 under the lights - the Gate should be bouncing, I just hope we don't concede an early goal and it goes flat. Alternatively an early goal for us would get our tails up and who knows what could happen from thereon in! Let's show everyone what we're about. Big night too for the pubs of BS3, don't forget! And those with parking spaces rented out ha ha
  15. . . . and don't forget our world class HPC. Thanks to the Lansdown family for their magnificent support.
  16. I was there; unfortunately the Bears didn't bother turning up
  17. St. Nicks is street food heaven. The Spanish place is just awesome.
  18. Smiley's (RIP) lesser known younger brother
  19. It's a bit of a leap of faith when they've not announced the entire bill.
  20. These 2 were exceptional to begin with, but drifted off a bit after about the 3rd series. Especially used to love Simon (Egg from This Life, Andrew Lincoln in real life) pegging it along through Knowle on his BMX then he turns the corner and he’s by the suspension bridge! Lots of the pub scenes in Teachers were filmed in the old Seymour’s Club in Barton Vale. I remember seeing the Wurzels play there supported by Fred Wedlock. It was bloody chaos!
