  1. I think we'll be watching this one on Robins TV
  2. The title of this thread should be changed, people will look at it and think the game is off, maybe put a ? at the end rather than !
  3. The early kick off means there won't be time to clear the walkways even if the pitch is ok so I'd have thought they won't risk it
  4. So you were complaining that you wanted him kept on in 2020? Most of his experience was in L2 at that point, he had no Championship experience before he came to us
  5. I didn't say he looked poor, he just didn't do anything outstanding, not enough to justify his place.
  6. I have to say when he played for us looked very ordinary, I don't think anyone was too upset when we let him go. Hindsight's a wonderful thing!
  7. I know this doesn't fit with either of your agendas but I keep tabs on Sunderland as one of my mates is a big fan of theirs, so I know you probably haven't been checking their site like I have. Below is a typical post just before he left: https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/tony-mowbray-post-match.1620617/
  8. I would say if you park a couple of hours before kick off you should be ok, any later and you could spend a while looking for a space.
  9. A lot of fans were asking for Mowbray to be sacked when results weren't going well, they only had regrets once Beale was appointed in his place!
  10. I really don't get why so many seem to hate Tinnion, he's always been a great servant to this club, I can only think it's because the Lansdowns rate him
  11. Given the amount of time Nige was given and that he was one of the longest serving Championship managers when he left I'm sure we're seen as a fair employer for prospective candidates . It was actually his second longest stint in any of his previous jobs
  12. On the other hand it's a great achievement for a club outside the Prem to even be in the WSL.
  13. I remember going to Loftus Rd in the early 70s and watching us lose 3-0, it was a masterclass by Marsh who gave Geoff Merrick a torrid time, he was just impossible to stop. One of the few times I've seen us lose but came away having enjoyed the match.
  14. Sunderland fans have gone into meltdown (even worse than on here) following their disastrous loss against Swansea. They got what they wanted with Beale being sacked and seem to be even worse.
  15. It's a lot of money, he won't have that available as loose cash. Most of his money will be alresdy invested in other projects I would have thought.
  16. This project isn't the same as the football where the money is written off, it's meant to make a profit.
  17. He's obviously not running the football side of things now, that's been handed over to Jon, he's probably focusing on the new hotel/housing development project.
  18. It's a podcast, why does he have to be fair? He's just expressing his opinions, if you don't agree you don't have to listen.
  19. My exasperation was not to do with your figures, it's that yet another thread (which was meant to be about a podcast) has evolved into yet another Pearson v Manning yawnfest, I wish people could wake up, smell the coffee and move on!
  20. This is all quite amusing really, a thread moaning about someone's opinion on a podcast has given it extra free publicity and almost certainly increased it's audience as a result, Ian will be very thankful!
  21. As LM said we need to move the ball quickly once in the opponent's half, Bell was the main threat untill he got injured. I'm sure Twine will start the next game, he will make a difference, obviously not quite ready for this one.
  22. I certainly wouldn't write him off yet, he obviously needs more time in the U21's plus some coaching before he's ready again. I remember thinking Semenyo wasn't that good when he first came into the team and Scotty had some poor games early on, he obviously did well at City's academy so can't be as rubbish as people on here are making out.
  23. The reason we're mid table is we don't win games like this that we should, we have to break the mould to move into the top half and onwards, no excuses today with the players we have available
