I've noticed a few Ipswich fans getting nervous at the prospect. If they finished with a record points total to miss out on auto promotion and then got done by Norwich in the playoffs I'm not sure they'd ever get over it.
As KK would say, ' I'd love it '

Knickers, a football requisite back in those days.

I thought this was a Peter Carol exclusive. Most disappointing.

It'll be Tinnion until the season's end while they conduct a 'rigourous process'.
If they do that it'll be Chris Hogg taking the reigns.....

If that’s dull I’ll take it all day long ‘ how is winning a major trophy’ European away days and playing prem football dull ‘ really confused.
Then be confused. I find Birmingham City as dull as can be. One of few teams I will not watch on sky. You can love them all you like.

No chance’ premier league and won a major cup final and a few games in Europe
And still as dull as dishwater.

I think Birmigham join us in the top 6 dullest.

Presumably though there is a cost (not necessarily monetary) of every player being at the club though - physio time, whatever training they can do, medical time, and so on?
You might also be able to negotiate some lower lump sum I guess, the benefit for the player being they can take that and then potentially get a new contract
If it is just a niggle why would we offload? If it's a long term injury a player is unlikely to get a contract elsewhere.

You could win Jon Lansdown is a draw.
You'd be getting both tit and tat.

Yep.
I'm certainly not looking forward to it. But unlike many City fans, it's just 2 minutes down the road for me, so it's much less of a inconvenience.
For my brother, Covid is keeping him away, so that means our mother can have his ticket. I don't think she's too pleased, but Happy Mother's Day mum!
I'd ask to see the test evidence. It might be a ruse to stay at home

I don't particularly disagree but sacking a manager 20 Games plus Cup games ie 4 months into a 3.5 year deal..wouldn't he or the others see that as an admission of error and or ineptitude? Which makes me think they may double down.
You mean give him a contract extension?

Police dogs are specially trained. Some are sniffer dogs to locate explosives, narcotics of any kind, often seen at airports but rarely at football matches
Those at football matches are to act largely as deterrents and given the history between the two sets of fans it’s no surprise that they were there.
Same at the Vetch and NP years ago.
Police dogs are specially trained. And the rest of OTIB thought they picked up the dogs from the RSPCA the morning of the match.
Those at football matches are to act largely as deterrents If only there was a Robbored deterrent hound patrolling this forum.- 1

In this case the OP said that they were police officers (not representatives of NFFC).
Don't think that football clubs can just apply their own rules with no involvement of the authorities - the involvement of the police at matches isn't optional for football clubs.
I'm not so sure. Didn't a fellow red object to having his wallet searched by stewards at QPR earlier in the season? From memory, the police told them he had 2 choices, do as they asked or not enter the stadium. I doubt that QPR applied and had this approach agreed formally in a court of law.
If a minority of football supporters weren't arseholes it wouldn't be needed. They (police/stewards etc) don't do the same when you enter the hippodrome to watch panto with your kids or granny. Horses for courses.

I think the venue may be the issue. They will want to let the lad get settled in Bristol and a 600 mile round trip with lads he mostly doesn't know wouldn't help that.
I don't know where the story of Yeboah having an attitude problem comes from, it's the opposite from what I have been told. He is only playing for U18'S Wednesday because they want to have their best chances of progressing in the youth cup.
They go via Dover or something?

Any idea if this is before or after Bridge Valley Road? (Based on a journey that would use Bridge Valley on the way to BS3)
It is between Bridge Valley and Avonmouth. Should be OK coming down BV.

I think @phantom posts periodically that a consultation is due and or @Blagdon red may have mentioned it before too. Thanks for posting.
About to read the article but we definitely need to build on things..1.4k isn't enough, supply is clearly outstripped by demand.
1.4k what isn't enough for what @Mr Popodopolous
