It has to be that surely. No-one could seriously spout this bollocks and really believe it could they? What`s next - starting Bartontown somewhere on Salisbury Plain and inviting g*sheads to join him there in waiting for the apocalypse?

100%. Knows he’s spent and on the wind up. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some seriously dodgy shit going on there led by the messiah

  2. Apart from the odd fancy touch and one burst of brilliance in the second half, he was invisible for nearly all of the game and I’d like to see him work harder for the team. Nige should bring in Weimann next game and show ‘Messi’ that work ethic is required to be successful over here.

My overall summary on the pod was one of real contentment.  I really think we are moving in the right direction and probably quicker than I thought too.  That’s not to say I think we are playoff challengers all of a sudden.

Nige has created versatility and flexibility within a small(ish) squad.  Players like Pring has come in and exceeded expectations, Atkinson settled very quickly, Scott looks like a bona fide first teamer whilst Andi Weimann and Chris Martin are defying the “I don’t see where the goals are coming from”.  That’s without mentioning others.  Nige has got the players playing at their level of ability, no mean feat imho

Probably the only areas of dissent are the full-backs.  I’m not concerned myself, I don’t think Vyner and Simpson have been bad at all (Vyner was poor v Boro). Dasilva has been targeted, but that is something that can be worked on with Atkinson’s positioning.

Next step is to win a home game and lay that to rest.

And all that achieved whilst having a world of problems to deal with behind the scenes and elements of toxicity to eradicate. I’d say it’s been solid progress in a short space of time.

Nothing could be better than the reception Wilbs got when he came on as a sub for Bolton that night. The entire ground standing and applauding an opposition player was something I didn`t think I`d ever see at AG and it made me proud to be a City fan. The last one that came close was Glyn Riley`s return with Aldershot. As one of Alby`s team-mates supposedly said to him at the time `What did you do, win the World Cup with Bristol or something?`

    He deserved it mind.

    I ******* loved Wilbs

  5. Don’t want to be the belter who starts a new thread on this so I’ll ask on here...

Where do city fans usually gather pre reading? As I remember there’s essentially **** all around the ground
