  1. That reply was said in the context of Robbored’s post. I had hoped that was clear but apologies if not.
  2. The fact that you think being Anti-Racist or indeed concerned about the state of the environment is a ‘young un’ thing does not particularly place you in a good light. There are plenty of ‘old uns’ who don’t make a strange point of trying to defend/excuse racism...
  3. I’m pointing the fingers at City fans because they were racist today and this is a City forum? What would you have preferred?
  4. You started off wanting to discuss the chant in isolation and now seemed to have gone on to discuss the context in which fans are singing the song? In which case the fact it followed chants relating to Tommy Robinson and other racist obscenities suggests to me it is entirely racist.
  5. But everyone else is racist as well so it’s okay...
  6. Apologies for jumping on the defensive. In my opinion, it is racist by virtue of indicating that living in a place that features a lot of people of a different race is something negative and inferior.
  7. Racist things are racist no matter who you say them to!
  8. Unless you’re arguing that they were chanting it in a positive way then yes it is?
  9. It didn’t seem so unfortunately. Was booed by other City fans thankfully and they stopped!
  10. Chants about Tommy Robinson, “Just a small town in Asia” amongst others
  11. And “You’re just a small town in Asia” ! Absolutely F-ing Vile!
  12. Ashamed of the stuff a large portion of the city fans were chanting today mind! Absolutely disgusting, not in my club!!
  13. In response to the various comments with regards to Transfers I have crunched the numbers for the current championship teams for the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons. As you can see we are towards the top but our number of incomings are by no means anything unusual!! 1. Bolton W- 61 Signings 2. Wigan A- 58 Signings 3. Notts Forest- 50 Signings 4. Leeds United- 44 Signings 5. Rotherham U- 44 Signings 6. Sheffield U- 43 Signings 7. Blackburn R- 42 Signings 8. Bristol C- 38 Signings 9. Ipswich T- 38 Signings 10. Middlesbrough- 37 Signings 11. Hull C- 37 Signings 12. Birmingham C- 36 Signings 13. Reading- 34 Signings 14. Aston Villa- 33 Signings 15. Norwich C- 31 Signings 16. PNE- 30 Signings 17. Stoke C- 28 Signings 18. Millwall- 28 Signings 19. WBA- 27 Signings 20. QPR- 27 Signings 21. Swansea C- 25 Signings 22. Derby C- 24 Signings 23. Sheffield W- 22 Signings 24. Brentford- 21 Signings It highlights to me even more so how well Brentford are operating and looking through their transfers the success rate is incredibly high.
  14. Yeah I think he must have. In the story he had ‘broken jaw confirmed’ written over a replay of the incident. Assume someone from the club cottoned on to it and asked for it to be removed.
