It’s a really weird choice whichever way you look at it. When a team is doing badly and you want to sell season tickets you put generic stuff on the poster (think young kids waving flags , Ashton gate looking nice in the sunset etc). To feature Tinnion and Manning so prominently is really odd. It’s either a wind up or a massive blind spot from those running the club (I’m assuming JL signed it off) that have no idea what the fans are thinking.

Thanks all. Yes it’s for my kids memberships , I’ve got a season ticket. I wonder what the take up is for these free tickets, seems not everyone knows about it. As pointed out it makes kid’s membership a no brainier

The membership page on the club website states that each member can claim “2 free tickets to a match of their choice” this season. I can’t for the life of me find out how to do that on the ticket site though. Has anyone done it successfully? Thanks in advance

I think the problem was that, other than Max, the rest of the squad all had a major off day. I doubt that Sam playing well on his own would have been enough.

I saw Millwall looking very empty. So not just us that had loads of no shows. Must the the half term effect

I was actually thinking how quiet (our end, saints were loud at times) it was in the first half and how many empty seats there were. The turnstiles were quiet, was really easy to get to my seat which normally takes ages for a big crowd. Whole rows empty in the south stand and Lansdown and around us in the Dolman. Must have been way under the 24k sold. Anyway, once we got ahead and the nerves settled the atmosphere was brilliant.

I think he was referring to the poor quality kit which this season was made from recycled fake Fanta bottles. In the rain it gets very heavy and was weighing the players down.

With Tanner playing so well recently we suddenly have really good competition for what was previously our problem position.

Agreed. So we were basically robbed because of a bad decision and half arsed implementation of VAR. the club really should have complained about this

Just watched the highlights and it definitely looks like handball. If there are more angles which show something different then we should be able to see them. If there aren’t then why were they allowed to have VAR in the replay and not the first leg (where there were tons of different cameras).

Other clubs do the resale thing I think (Arsenal?). Can the club take a cut of that so everyone’s a winner? whilst I’m fully behind all the promotions for kids (they’re the next generation of support etc) I do think there’s an issue when we are “sold out” and there are people who want to come but can’t get a ticket yet there’s hundreds of empty seats everywhere.
