  1. Haha fair enough. I was being a bit facetious about a fight with Khan- he'd be good on Benn's resume because of his achievements, of course. The thing is Khan's only any sort of major draw any more in his own mind. I heard him trapping on the other day about potentially fighting Brook at Old Trafford! Maybe in 2014, Amir. Agreed, so don't sit there bloody moaning about it then! There's a decent case from Fury's point of view to shake off some rust before a Joshua fight. There must be a 5'4 Hungarian or similar eager to make some cash too!
  2. Isn't that one of your biggest bugbears about Joshua though?! Benn was sat bemoaning his lot and the terrible cruelty of being away from his family to earn sacks of cash before the fight- not sure that's very media savvy Also calling out Amir Khan after the fight? He might as well have called out Emile Griffith for the relevance Khan has now haha.
  3. Can't agree, his dad is one of my favourite ever fighters but Conor really grinds my gears for some reason. He's certainly improved though and is clearly being groomed for PPV by Eddie and Sky. Andrade via unanimous boring of the entire crowd to sleep. Absolutely this, he's spent too far long paying Adam Booth a shit load of wedge to blow smoke up his arse. You have to be spiteful and prepared to take some punishment as well as looking good throwing 16 punch combos.
  4. I don't want to know the ins and outs of it and I'm very sorry for your loss. I was responding to your post on a football forum, regarding football matters.
  5. Hmm, back again solely to praise the departing CEO. What he needed to do was sign good players, improve the squad and manage contracts professionally. He manifestly did not. You seem more of a Mark Ashton fan than a Bristol City fan, frankly.
  6. Well fair play, Benn went straight through him. Vargas clearly hideously past it though.
  7. Well he got handed his arse in the first one he had v Peynaud and they had to go back to the drawing board! I think he has a bit more about him now but he'd be nowhere near this level without his surname, because he wouldn't have been given the chances.
  8. One of the best women's boxing matches I've ever seen. I agree, I'd happily watch it again. Courtney really impressed me tonight, used her skill to get herself out of trouble really intelligently. She deserved the win.
  9. It really is, against all expectations! Both giving it absolutely everything.
  10. Evening Bird, hope you're well. Incredible you're allowed to fight packing as much silicone as Bridges tbh.
  11. I'm not sure if this made a scintilla of sense to you when you were typing it, but it comes over pretty batshit crazy tbh. It's pretty ironic for somebody randomly ranting about powerplays, autonomy and obedience on a football forum to be accusing others of wearing a tin foil hat.
  12. Well said. I read the OP in disbelief. The attitude is so supine I almost hope it's a sock puppet from the club rather than a fellow supporter.
  13. Yep, Kinahan is a properly nasty bastard, just like his dad. The win over Santa Cruz was definitely Frampton's career highlight- although the fight with Donaire was maybe actually his best performance in my eyes- paticularly in the context of Nonito's subsequent fight with Inoue. The dismantling of Scott Quigg was entertaining too. Herring v Oscar Valdez is one hell of a fight imo, fantastic clash of styles. Herring's accuracy tonight was preternatural.
  14. Agree with all of that @Kid in the Riot. Boxing is littered with murdering bastards as managers/ promoters of course, but Kinahan and his crew are particularly brazen. I must say Herring made a fan of me tonight, both for the punch perfect performance and his obvious absolute decency. Back to Tigers Bay for a well deserved chill for Carl- I can see him scoring a decent media career hereafter.
  15. Retire Carl ffs. A boxer whose heart took him well beyond his abilities, but he needs to pack it in and enjoy his family and his health.
  16. Evening Bird, Frampton is finished sadly. Edit, good work from the corner. Surprisingly excellent display from Herring, I'm genuinely impressed.
  17. They look 3 or 4 weight divisions apart. Bad cut that though, if it's from a punch then Frampton's chances have radically improved. edit, clearly a punch, surely.
  18. Evening Owl, yes I'm watching. Frampton looks so one dimensional now eh. Herring has seriously long levers.
  19. Ahahaha, Molina loves a lie down when he gets half a chance.
  20. Hopefully a a real learning curve for him mate, but we all know Molina is a tin hearted bastard eh.
  21. I fancy Wardley to plough through the ghost of Molina within 3 here.
  22. Hesgol is fine for me too, also the DAZN broadcast. http://www.hesgoal.com/news/76362/Boxing_-_Alexander_Povetkin_vs_Dillian_Whyte.html
  23. **** me, Cheeseman's only 25? His paper round must have been horrific haha.
  24. One hell of a shot from the big Cheese. The way he came back into that in the last couple of rounds was very impressive. Excellent fight.
  25. Boom. What a great fight.
