  1. Let's not do what the gas did when the 4th round draw was made and start convincing ourselves of a scenario that may not happen. Let's firstly see what happens in the Newport vs Man United game. Yes Man United are clear favourites, but as Maidstone proved anything is possible. Then we focus on our own replay against Forest. What will be, will be.
  2. I live in Taunton and my regular lift is on holiday. I don't mind catching the train, but have noticed the there are works so it's going to take hours. Let me know if you can help. Happy to pay petrol money.

Why would you need to buy any houses? When the South Stand was originally built no houses were purchased.

I don't see us troubling the play offs, but I also think we'll be well clear of relegation.

The South Stand currently hold just over 6,000. If you add another tier I guess that would bring it up to about 9,000. The Atyeo currently holds 4,200. If rebuilt in the same way as the South Stand that can be either 6,000 with one tier or roughly 9,000 with two tiers. This would bring capacity up to nearly 30,000 (if a tier is added to the South Stand), or 32,000 (if a tier is added to the South Stand and the Atyeo is rebuilt) or 35,000 (if a tier is added to the South Stand and the Atyeo is rebuilt with two tiers).

When Fulham were rebuilding their ground didn't they have no away fans? If we had to have them I'm sure we could find 1,000 seats somewhere just for a season. Perhaps add the South Stand upper tier first, chuck them in there, then rebuild the Atyeo. This would give the club the perfect opportunity to move the away fans too so they wouldn't have the whole of one stand.

I believe we have two quick solutions to this. The first being to knock down the Atyeo and rebuild it with an increased capacity. It would mean having no away fans for a season, but shouldn't affect the home fans and should only impact one season. The second being building an upper tier the South Stand. I understand it was built in such a way that an upper tier can easily be added. How long this would take and what inconvenience this would cause to fans in that stand I have no idea though.
  8. It sounds good and I'll definitely buy it. Really poor from the club to not produce any form of official programme.
  9. Thanks. I think I'll get a physical ticket
  10. Sorry NFC, what's that? I literally have no clue how any of this works.
  11. Genuine question, what's Google wallet? Don't have it/never used it. I've got a smartphone but I'm not techy at all. I don't know how half of it works.
  12. I'm surprised it's not been mentioned on here that Christano Ronaldo picked up his 200th international cap tonight, the first male footballer officially recognised by FIFA to reach 200 caps. He got an 89th minute winner too. He shows no signs of hanging up his boots too, so how many could he reach? Say what you want about the guy but that's an incredible achievement.
  13. Both will be safe tomorrow when Leicester lose to Liverpool
  14. Feel free to talk to my mate who's a Sunderland fan about his opinion of him, or my mate who's a Blackburn fan who couldn't wait to see the back of him. Then there's that fact that no matter who he manages when we play them and I watch his sides have lost every single time.
  15. Tony Mowbray. Crap everywhere he goes. Baffles me how he keeps getting jobs in football.
  16. On 11th March Sheffield Wednesday won to go top on the league with 2 games in hand. Tonight they've played their second game in hand and sit 2nd having only picked up 2 points out of 12. It's crazy how quickly things can change. Totally the wrong time to be having that run in form.
  17. I was just reading about this somewhere else. This is called UEFA Article 48 and rather interestingly only three countries currently apply it, England, Scotland & Montenegro. Whilst it's got some clear pluses like more income for the club and better availability for fans to watch more games legally, I fear it will have a negative impact on attendances and atmosphere at grounds, especially for smaller teams in Leagues 1 & 2. Even bigger teams like Sunderland & Middlesbrough complain about the lack of away fans coming to their grounds, this will only make it worse. It could have a positive impact on ticket prices though. Clubs may be forced to lower them to simply attract people to attend.
  18. Yeovil play Gateshead away on Tuesday, a proper relegation 6 pointer. Lose that and I fear it's curtains for them.
  19. At the beginning of the season I backed PSG to win the Champions League ?. With the squad they've got they should be serious contenders.
  20. 7 points is needed from the remaining 4 games to guarantee winning the league. That's assuming London win all their remaining games.
  21. Not City related, but Burnley are guaranteed at least a play off spot if Norwich fail to win today.
  22. It's better then the 3 teams in a group proposed originally, however, it means there will be SEVENTY TWO group games played in total to only eliminate 16 teams. It also makes it unlikely any of the bigger nations will be eliminated in the group stages. The likes of Mexico, Germany, Belgium & Uruguay who were all knocked out in the group stages of the last World Cup would make it through to the knockout stages with this new format. But I guess this is exactly what FIFA are aiming for, more matches & the bigger nations not going out early.
  23. They would've played Wednesday and Saturday evening before they play us on Tuesday. They were also away in Germany on Wednesday, plus they're away to Bournemouth on Saturday, plus they are away to us (obviously). That's three away games in six days, plus a trip to Europe and back. They fielded a full strength team on Wednesday and with how tight the Premier League is at the moment I would fully expect them to field a full strength team on Saturday too. Because of this I think they'll field a weakened team on Tuesday (even though their bench is probably good enough to finish top 4 in the Premier League). My tactic, go and attack them. Take advantage of the fact they might be inexperienced, not been getting many minutes or have tired legs. Use this to our adavntage. Unleash players like Scott, Bell, Sykes on them who are not afreaid to take players on. Have a real go at them. When we beat Man United we did it by showing them no respect and by attacking them. When we played City the last two times we did the same. Lets go toe to toe with them.
  24. I've been saying it for the past year or even longer that the next England manager will be either Lampard or Gerrard. Both are currently available and I can't see Southgate staying much longer then the Euro's. Who knows we might get one as manager and the other as assistant .
  25. Whenever I've been in there at half time they've got Sky Sports on. Come to think of it everytime I've been in there they've had Sky Sports on.
