Yes City
Leicester can shove their Ralph Lauren polo shirts right up their ar5e!!!!

Why do players take a goal kick and pass to the keeper?
-
Looked a defo pen from the South Stand. Right in front of me
The only doubt was did the short pulling start outside the box?

Let's hope that while they were on the grass this last two weeks that LM has shown them what a goal net looks like.

I think Southgate is doing a wonderful job
Of lowering our expectations
-
Just like City, England play like we're 3-0 up when in fact we're losing.
We'll never win anything under Southgate.

Maybe our season ticket sales will start moving forward ........ when our passing does.

You’d of actually stayed up with 1 point per game in 7 of the last 10 seasons, but that’s by the by.
You’ve decided to take his worst run of results to make your point in what is, to me, still too small of a sample size to judge him fairly.
I get your point about it's a small sample size, but what do you think will change?
In all those games he's been in charge, the tactics have been the same, the subs have been (in the main) like for like, he doesn't change the formation, not even when we are having to chase the game.
It worries me, that teams seem to work us out in the first half and tweak things and when that happens Manning just has no response. Will a preseason change this? I doubt it.
If he buys the players he wants for his system, teams will still work us out and adapt, where as we will continue to flog the same horse.
I agree he needs time, but i don't see where the progress is going to come from, unless we can become ultra clinical and score 2 or 3 first half goals.

To coin an old joke
We're like an Italian tank .......

Have you ever noticed, no other team comes knocking on Lansdown's door to try and poach one of our managers.
Words you never hear in other boardrooms " **** me Bristol City have a great manager! Let's try and prise him away"

We didn't lose today because of tactics, the players need to step up.
I know exactly how he feels.
I choose 6 numbers on the lottery every week and they never turn up either!

He was bought for a different team
All our players look lost playing this system

Like for like subs, so we can play the same way with different players.
That's because he doesn't think
He's like an Indian call centre, just does whatever the manual tells him to do

We don’t have meaning under manning
But we have behaviours apparently ........ although pretty bad ones

If only Man City played with two up front ......... then so would we.

Well that half time team talk did the business didn't it?
Manning must send them to sleep
-
We really don't score many goals do we
Good job we're not in the entertainment business

Looks like they are trying to get kids/families into the upper tier of the Lansdown. I've seen a few posts this season saying there is very little pay on the day in the South Stand.
Reckon they are possibly trying to redress that?

I don't know about you, but I'm rather interested in seeing how much they are going to pay me to sit and watch that nonsense next season.

So what was looking like a rather boring season of steady, but slow progress, could in fact become a little more interesting ......... just not in the way that we had anticipated.

I guess what I’d say (and this is no defence of Manning by the way), is that you haven’t really factored in the relativity.
Relatively speaking, if we were 4 points off the playoffs after 15 games, then under the same trends we’d be 8 points off the playoffs after 30 games.
Now on 36 games, under the same trends, we’d be roughly 9.5 to 10 points off the playoffs (well, 10 would be after 37.5 games in that 15 game model).
So we are currently 13 points off the playoffs, so the relative regression is only 3 points.
I like this theory. If only we could win our first five games. Then we should win the league without dropping a point.
