Not for me. He managed just two points from our last nine games in the Championship, meaning we got relegated with a whimper. That was followed by six points from our first 12 games in League One.
Have a look at the squad when we lost 3-2 at home to Stoke last autumn. That looks like a pretty strong group of players to me. Rewind back to a year before that when we lost 2-0 to Reading and we had a very strong squad IMO
I'm saying that in my 40 years of supporting City, we've achieved zip - apart from the occasional bit of success in league one. I'd love for the club to be successful, but maybe it's time to lower our expectations
i don't think there can be too many fingers pointed at Manning today. WBA are and always have been a bigger club, and they have a better squad of players. We played OK
