  1. No, the most important talent is being able to manage a football team. When you comprehensively fail at that, having an affable personality is some consolation.
  2. Personally I didn't like him. He just had no charm or likeability factor. It doesn't take much.
  3. To be fair, it was SOD who laid the foundations for this predicament. But it doesn't matter who's in charge - Bristol City are just synonymous with failure and disappointment. Always have been, always will be.
  4. I've been a supporter of Cotterill so far, but I will waver before long. Playing three at the back with our carp defence was suicide
  5. If you believe that, you'll believe anything
  6. No but that's not the point. How anyone can miss O'Driscoll is beyond me. I will never forgive him for taking us down without a fight last season
  7. Oh give over. SoD was statistically the worst manager we've ever had. We were best rid of him
  8. I blame the board. They don't have a clue how to run a football club. God knows how Lansdown made so much money. Did he win the lottery??
  9. 'Er, that's not all Ghandi...that's from the time when me and Magz embraced the home-video phenonemon..."
  10. Have you been to South Africa recently?
  11. Glad he's gone but I would say give one more manager with a good record a chance and if that also goes t*ts up, it's time for the board to go.
  12. Great days indeed. However, that was shortly after the club was at rock bottom, so any success felt like a Godsend. We should be aiming for higher these days.
