  1. Good spot. I thought that when I read it too. No doubt he would have wanted to discuss where Dean sees him fitting in under the new management plans but no doubt that he probably would want a move if he thinks his time here will be a carry on from Lee's approach. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Such a shame his time hasn't worked out and his best moments (for me) were when he linked up with Afobe who got the best out of him (certainly his confidence seemed sky high).
  2. The Trophy 'value' was rubbish before the Unders were added and it was getting worse. Something had to change. At least now there are some interesting scores. Must be more entertaining to watch than before (if you're not on the receiving end) and definately more entertaining than watching England games!
  3. They truly are a terrible, terrible 'media' outlet.
  4. Muggsy Bogues was a bit short for a Basketball player be he did OK. I suppose it's not only all about hight (not disregarding it), but he may have other skills/qualities like positioning, marking and strength that make up for his lack of height. His pace will certainly help if it means he doesn't take an age to turn like an Oil Tanker!
  5. Its quite interesting how some on here slate people and comments from Fulham fans about Aflie's injury risk because it's not what we want to hear, yet if they were positive comments I suspect they would be praising the Fulham fans!!! Let's just wait and see how this turns our. No doubt Mawson had the ability and a level of skill a few years ago that we need, however if his injury risk is close to the comments from a small number of Fulham fans, then we could regret this big time. Personal I'm going to put my trust in the medical and the scouts and cross my fingers that we haven't don
  6. Sounds like a firm of Solicitors
  7. Welcome Chris....still, not good enough for the home shirt reveal though #whosnext Great signing, vital experience we need. Very pleased with this one. Please don't get injured!
  8. Bet he's never heard this 'joke' before! Why do people think a double signing though? What did I miss?
  9. - I still cling to hope each game , although I see the atmosphere as the whole day. Love match day. There will always be a risk, just reduced. Not a 'No' risk though.
  10. Not want to go because of the reduced capactity/ possible lack of atmosphere or becuase of the risk of COVID?
  11. I thought McGregor specifically squashed this one last week? Appreciate things can change quickly so maybe though.
  12. Thats OK. I don't mind people poking fun at my spelling. (shit the bed - i even suprise myself sometimes )
  13. And spelling and grammar looks good too. Definate let down by BP standards Fevs!
  14. Wouldn't it just be City if it was his ACL or something Hopefully, if he has got a knock, it's nothing serious and just taking precaution
  15. I could be wrong (probably am) but I thought the assumption that the 2 new coaches were suddenly going to bring all the England Under 23/20/19/17's etc etc was the standard OTIB reaction that one person posts hypothetically and all of a sudden its gospel and the Bristol Post are printing it? I haven't seen anything quoted from the club that this was the strategy? I'm certainly hopeful that they can use their contacts/influence to bring some talent in if that's the clubs strategy for the season.

Wow. That doesn't sound sustainable. Bound to be more injuries and fatigue with that many games in short order. This is why we need so many midfielders on the books. Sounds like there will be plenty of opportunity and rotation needed.
  17. Where have you heard or read this? Have you got a link you can share?
  18. Got to say credit where its due to Ashton and the Club on this one after recent events. I wasn't convinced we'd sign anyone until right at the end of the window but we've moved quickly to get this deal done. Pleased also that even with the financial challenges of the club right now, Landsdown is still putting money in. Well done City and welcome Joe.
  19. Murray v Oldham (literally). Ran the entire length of the pitch to score in front of the Atyeo. Never a better goal and gutted I've got no video to share.
  20. Why would some people on this thread not want a sponsor? It's money for the club which is impacted at the moment. No shirt sponsor = reduced income!?!? Baffles me.
  21. A Job for... Seen in clifton buying a flat.... Seen in the M5 services.... See: 'A Joke'
  22. Who would have though COVID would have been the thing to highlight the mess of Scottish Football!!!! joking. I know that will offend a few who know more about Scottish football than I do.
  23. I said the other day on another thread that in my view given everything that's happened over the last few weeks, that the club needed to be transparent in their explanation for this appointment. I honestly thought they would have and we'd had received something quite special today to win the customers back over. After reading Marks statement though, I just feel ripped off and cheated. I can understand now why there's so much frustration because of what Landsdown and Ashton originally said they were looking for to tonight's statement - there is no explanation (or honesty) for what changed
