What voice do fans have these days? Fans are expected to just sit ine neat rows, applaud politely at the end and before leaving spend lots of cash on club merchandise.

The fans voice brought down the super league. It needed the prem teams and the whole EFL stood up and they backed out. There is no way this will happen. I know some mock the atmosphere of English football fans compared to that of other European countries but we come out on top for protecting our teams/leagues. We invented the game, it stays here. If people from America want to watch Man United vs Arsenal then they best buy a ticket at Old Trafford/The emirates. Plus they all flock over there for pre season anyway. Granted it’s not a competitive fixture but they still get to see all the European giants play. I mean **** me they even got to watch the mighty Wrexham last summer 😂 I’m sure they’ll have another US summer tour planned.

This may sound a little harsh but I think it’s time we left the Wurzels in the 70s. We need a new anthem, kids of today aren’t going to belt this music out.

I know I will be in the minority here.

Nahhhh can’t be having that. Part of our identity. I’d rather listen to them than anything new. Music has stayed stale for over a decade now. The fact it hasn’t changed since 2010 speaks volumes. Got to listen to rap, live in our grey houses, scroll social media, stay hooked up to just eat and deliveroo and all blend in to a dull blob. It’s nice going to Ashton gate and actually hearing Bristolian accents, so more of it from our music please.

    Just leaving this here...... 😴

Huddersfield are right up for the game. Not making it easy for us. Thankfully they lack that bit of quality up front. Wouldn’t say it’s reverting back to type, more the opposition has A LOT more to play for and it’s showing currently.

  4. I rarely go to an away game and think “wow what amazing home support” think the best I’ve seen was Palace maybe 13/14 years ago, we won 1-0, think it was Iwelumo who scored and credit to the palace fans in the corner right by us, they never shut up the whole game. Other than that can’t think of an away game where it’s been noisy, we’re no different. Things could be better of course but it’s hard to get 20,000-24,000 fans to be vocal constantly.

  5. Not to take away from the original post, haven’t seen it anywhere but will we be unveiling next seasons home kit on the final day? Feels like we’ve been in the current one for what feels like a decade thanks to the Hummel collapse. Can’t wait to see us out of it.

100% the former, you just have to look up the road for what it looks like when a side downs tools for the summer early.

The signs have been there, it’s just slowly but surely getting more consistent.

Give the man credit he deserves, according to this forum he’s been massively under pressure for weeks so presumably he’s fighting for his job.

Superb tonight and as I’ve said for a long time, I am genuinely excited for next season and really feel under LM we can have a right good season.

I’ve been critical of him, but I feel rightfully so. However never called for him to be sacked, it was more of a “I really don’t care if he stays or goes” kind of attitude which I think a lot of fans shared. Now with that though is the opportunity for him to win some of us who feel like that around, which for me he’s doing. I’m still not 100% convinced he’ll be here come the end of next season but if we end this season strongly and have a good window then he may well be. The owners got their man, I’m praying they back him now.

  7. A great win tonight, 4 clean sheets in a row. Attackers finally looking deadly, defence looks sharp, O’Leary unbeatable. Whilst it’s great to watch you can’t help but feel a bit frustrated we couldn’t be like this 10-15 games ago. So is it actually a sign things have changed, manning has got a grip on things and his way of playing has finally clicked… or is it because the pressure is off, the seasons done, sunglasses and sun tan lotion are already packed and the lads are just playing with a bit of freedom. I’m praying it’s the former and this can roll in to next season. About time we’ve had something to be excited about. If they can keep this up for the remaining 4 games and have a solid transfer window, they might just get the feel good factor they desperately need from the fans as we are certainly a better club when united.

I was going to say, Knight seems to have played his way out of contention!

Was a close one between him and Dickie for me, Knight has dropped a bit towards the end of the season but overall think he’s been a quality signing. Always available, runs his socks off and has to be the highest for distanced covered over the season. Scored some important goals too. My player of the season but could have easily been Dickie too.

  9. I mean id rather we win as many games as possible and finish as high as we can. Pre season is his time to do what you're saying. I'll take 5 more really boring, awful, wish I didn't bother going 1-0 Swansea wins right now.

  10. Jason Knight POTS

    Conway YPOTS

Have zero knowledge or interest in the women’s game so didn’t bother voting, same for the champagne moment. Left that blank as don’t feel there’s genuinely been any. Maybe the West Ham win but it’s just West Ham… hardly exciting. Although expecting Jon and Tins to reveal some wall art with Conway cutting the ribbon to celebrate next January as a 1 year anniversary… Christ what a shite season 😂

  11. For me now it’s top 10. If we can get 10th then I’ll see that as decent progress, however it needs to be bettered next season. The club (Jon and tins) have made a rod for their own backs with how they’ve handled things, if manning fails to get us in the mix next season, and by that I mean consistently in and around the play offs and not a bit of form at the end of the season to sneak in there, then it’s not him who needs to take a step down but the ones who made the decision.

We have a decent little squad coming together, with the forward line strengthened in the summer & hopefully Williams & James (for another 12 months) retained, or upgraded - maybe already covered with Bird - we have/will have far better depth heading into next season - whatever comes of this season.

Everywhere but goalkeeper and attackers. When I seen the line up today I knew none of the front 3 were scoring. They’ll be good as the back ups but definitely need a whole new front line for next season.

  13. Thought it was a matter of him being absolutely shattered more so than an injury. Maybe a bit of both but he’s got to be at the top of the list for distanced covered in the squad this season. Robert’s is very decent cover so we’ll be ok if he is out for a game or 2.
