  1. Yes it’s important to them which makes it amusing to call them Notts Forest.
  2. Or they blow their horn. If you have time to blow your horn then you didn’t need to do it. People who dash out from a junction in front of you and then poodle along at speeds lower than necessary.
  3. I don’t mind watching from the outside.
  4. We had Scott last year , a player who you believed could turn a match. When big Flinty took to the pitch you sensed that he would not very often be on the losing side. Bob Taylor, Shaun Goater , Mickey Bell , Alan Walsh , all were talisman ( men ? ) but who do we have today who fills you with confidence that we will come out on top when he takes to the pitch?
  5. A Madden header from a corner and an own goal, but it is playmaker Connor Lemonheigh-Evans who ran the show, and he got the third.
  6. He can’t even get his name right on OTIB. Downys out.
  7. He was very good last night, positive, agressive and smart. Let’s hope he can maintain the level and improve . I thought we suffered when he went off. High hopes for the lad.
  8. This is somewhat of an outlier. We cannot say ,after what seems every match, that we just didn’t tuck the chances away. At our level the margins are wafer thin but how many times have we looked like tonking anybody? Still lots to work on.
  9. I am ok for the team to be built on a solid defence, all good coaches drill their players to keep the ball out of the net. That is perhaps the less glamorous facet of a team but gives a platform to build on. It appears that the period of transition is largely over and the defence has improved steadily. The next bit, creativity, is the hardest . We just need a top striker and midfielder and the Prem calls.
  10. Come on lads and lasses what were his first words after extending his stay at the Mem? I am thinking , ‘ has my career really come to this? ‘
  11. Not forgetting Benarous who is back training with the first team. Here’s hoping he’s over his nightmare period.
  12. I remember one night, as a nipper, my grandad sent me out to buy 20 No6 ,the tobacconist was closed so I went to the Chinese takeaway on the corner and came home with 3 bags of egg fried rice.
  13. Happy birthday Louis. By C.A. ‘s judgment my grandad was a snappy dresser too. That’s not him by the way. He was a No6 man.
  14. I swear this chap was seen on his way to the Memorial Swamp with some paper and a pen.
  15. He hasn’t ‘ given’ anything, he is lucky enough to have been paid by the club for a number of years for his work. Fair play to the bloke.
