  1. You seem to be saying you don't care if Rovers win, lose or draw. I am willing to bet any money you like , that a large majority of any crowd at a City match would be pleased to hear of a Rovers defeat ( and there is nothing wrong in that whatsoever)
  2. Although I go to most Rovers games, I like to read the reports as I miss most of the action looking at my phone checking to see how City are getting on ;)
  3. I don't really go on Gaschat and have never heard of Steve Kaufman, sorry. Edit: There is a poster called Stevie K who writes match reports on the Gasheads forum, could be him?
  4. Edit: Of course the other irony is that the Villa fans behind us were chatting about the Birmingham City score!
  5. Well, he seems to cause plenty of in fighting between City fans- so he's good enough for me! All joking aside, have you not improved on your league position every season under him (I'm not sure if I'm right on that, thought I read it somewhere). If that is the case. maybe you should be careful what you wish for.
  6. Confession is good for the soul! (Hope you have a shit night tonight btw)
  7. I'll have a few quid with you that most members of this forum find out how we have got on within a few minutes of your own game ending , I don't mind admitting that- if we are mid table- the next result I look for is yours. I think that is all 'part of the fun'. There is a certain irony in your post in that it is on the one 1301st page of a thread about us . Enjoy the rivalry, I do :)
  8. You beat Fulham 2-1. Our game was effectively over and Fulham pulled one back late on, so by then I was just willing Fulham on , sadly wasn't to be. I have enjoyed your more recent results though :)
  9. If he takes you down next season I will
  10. Without trying to sound ridiculous, it's probably illegal to get him in the ground. Someone should though.
  11. I try and stay pissed, that way I always look great in the mirror.
  12. It's never really worried me one way or the other tbh. As a kid I liked Stoke, but that was more because I was a keeper and Gordon Banks was my hero, At the start of the season, if I had to choose one of the big teams I'd have probably chosen Liverpool, just because they haven't won it in ages. it's just that I didn't realise so many of my friends liked them and claim to be 'massive' fans. I guess I just don't 'get' being an armchair fan, yet I imagine that is the big teams biggest market.
  13. Don't care about the Premier League one way or the other, however, I have noticed something about Liverpool fans , especially today. My Facebook feed has - like most people's I guess- been full of post from 'massive' Liverpool fans, some of whom I didn't even know liked football. None of the Rovers or City fans I know describe themselves as 'massive' yet I have seen huge (massive even) amounts of posts by 'massive' Liverpool fans, many of whom I suspect ever never set foot in Anfield (Except maybe for a stadium tour). I even saw one, again from someone I didn't even know liked footb
  14. Lambert's with Basso on his knees, Gary Smart's, Randall rounding Mike Hooper in the 1 nil down 3- 1 up game, Holloway beating City's awful offsde trap at the Tote End, Beadle's last minute equaliser, Mehew's lob in the amazing League Cup turn around. So many to choose from EDit: Oh and all 4 in the 4-0 at Twerton
  15. They could go retro authentic. As soon as the away team score 'You're gonna get your ******* heads kicked in' would be ringing around the ground
  16. Well I was brought up in Fishponds, now live in Hanham, have also lived in Eastville, Kingswood and very briefly Warmley. So I nearly have the full set! Maybe it just depends where I'm living Edit: I also lived in Lawrence Weston 30 odd years ago which- at the time- I would have said was more Rovers than City! Mind you when I lived in Redfield and St George it was more of a 50/50 split.
  17. No, he isn't a travel agent. Whether or not he is the Messiah or not is another matter.
