  1. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZDcPajgHEE If you thought The Mem couldn't look more like a campsite...
  2. Agreed. I had to delete my Instagram pics due to the thousands of inappropriate comments from attractive women.
  3. I wonder if expectations will be relaxed due to the current climate. I know all clubs are in the same position but the new manager obviously isn't going to have the funds to bring in the players he wants. I highly doubt SL will be demanding promotion from Holden this season. A more attractive/exciting style of football is a must though.
  4. Lansdown will be the next one to go and Holden will lead the club to glory on his own. Pulling the pints pre-match and playing as a one-man-band on the stage outside. What a guy.
  5. Many football fans expect immediate success. We are about where we should be based on the size of our club. I'm happy not to reach the PL straight away but the fans rightly should expect to see more attractive football than we've seen recently. I feel we're very fortunate to have the owners that we do. If the strategy is to keep cautious and sustainable while other clubs crash and burn around us, I can see the logic behind that. That would make the Holden appointment logical too. Especially considering the current financial climate.
  6. The same Brentford that appointed their assistant coach and almost got promoted playing fantastic football?
  7. Irony of this post is that the banners are a reaction to rumours on social media about Holden and not anything that's been confirmed.
  8. Laughing stock or staffing lock?
  9. Support your local illegal streamers.
  10. Found it pretty funny to be honest. Obviously he doesn't have a clue what he's saying and is just trying to help a good cause.
  11. It doesn't work in the UAE either. No idea why when all other football forums do.
  12. Damn I left Mykonos a few days ago! Didn't really like it compared to the other Greek islands.
  13. Even the richest and best clubs on the planet have CMs who play every week that don't get goals or assists. You couldn't have a midfield of Grealish, Maddison and Mount for example. If he was playing as a CAM or number 10 that would be different. At 18/19 we're still waiting to see what type of midfielder he's going to turn into
  14. If clubs judged CMs on their goals/assists stats: Man City won't play Fernandinho next season. Chelsea won't play Kovacic. United won't play Matic. Leicester won't play Ndidi. Southampton won't play Hojbjerg. And none of these were 18 this season.
  15. It's fine because Weimann is a wing-back now anyway

Thought he was useless at wing-back, but that is entirely not his fault...

They both should have come off at half time. Surprised when they didn't and even more surprised when they didn't for the first subs. Bizarre from Johnson imo
  18. Wouldn't call it a sitter. Header with his back to goal got too much on it
  19. When there's one pig in blanket left on the table at Christmas dinner.

Looked well up for it. Need some of that aggression from Semenyo.
  21. Palmer's pass is up there with some of the best I've seen. What a goal.
  22. Not criticising today's performance but we still lack quality midfielders if we're serious about winning something. The likes of Rice and Barkley are nowhere near the level that's required when you look at the quality that France, Belgium etc have in central areas. We need Foden to start getting serious game time at City. On a more positive note - Sterling is a joy to watch. One of the best players in Europe right now.
