  1. Certainly it has put a big dent in them, unless with our new additions we can hit on a new attacking formation. I am afraid that last seasons strike force further weakened by the departure of Matty Taylor, will not be good enough.
  2. Heard from a reliable source that he will be going to either Oxford and MK Dons.
  3. You don’t need more than one game to see the problem that was evident last season, a lack of goals, nothing has changed.
  4. Without a 20+ goal scorer to go along side our existing strike force, we have no chance of getting promotion. You only have to look at the likes of Wolves, Sheffield United, Villa and even Leeds and Derby, they all had this vital ingredient that we are missing. I said before we should not have put all our eggs in one basket with this Arsenal lad and now the best we can hope for are the second rate strikers that are left, all our other targets have been transferred to other clubs.
  5. I really hope the club have some positive information from Arsenal that we as supporters don’t have. It seems we are putting all our eggs in one basket and if it all goes wrong Lee will be in a similar position to his father years ago when we panicked at the end of the transfer window with Lee Trundle, paid over the odds for him and he proved to be a damp squid!
  6. It always was HD11 because in those days there were only eleven players in a team no substitutes .
  7. Know for a fact that he never sold his house in Bristol because he said his family loved it here and they would return at the end of his career, so you never know.
  8. Is Kasey Palmer free to play on Friday or is he cuptied playing for Blackburn?
  9. We have numerous wide men who can cross a ball especially Elliason who is on fire but we have no target man to get on the end of them oh for a Milan Duric. Against a side like Milwall you need someone with power who is good in the air and I am afraid Famara isn’t that man, perhaps it would have been worth bringing on Baker up front
  10. It’s easy just follow LJ you just shuffle the pack available and hope you get a winning side. Easy being a manager isn’t it!!!! Fast running out of patience.
  11. I agree with previous comments a class player Kevin Beattie described him as a future Premiership player but I fear that won’t be with us!
  12. My big worry as I have said before, what happens if he gets injured, we have no physical presence in the squad up front, not even the Flint option that we had in the past. We were told that the squad needs cover for every position, where is it in this situation?
  13. We are taking a big gamble this season, we have no height or physical presence up front and today's game was crying out for it. Last season we had Djuric and if not we could put Flint forward. It's ok saying Diedhio will be back in two games but what if he gets injured, very worrying.
  14. That's a big loss for us when we were reported to have paid £1.5 mil for him, then the cost of his operation and rehab. Seems a bad deal if you ask me, especially as he is the only target man we have at the club and gives us a different attacking option.
