  1. As a father of a beautiful 2 year old daughter this particularly hits home, nobody should go through that! I hope in time you can find your peace and make her proud! God bless all of your family!
  2. I’ve got one adult ticket - I can no longer make it as the Mrs has Norovirus and I’ve got to look after her and the kids. My old man and 3 mates are going and they have the tickets. if anyone wants it let me know
  3. Half glass full or half glass empty Rovers= Irrelevant Eisa = in the past, move on League table/Preston = 3 points tomorrow gets us second one point off top! Cheer up!
  4. Had Norwich fans heard of Teemu Pukki before he signed for Norwich? Just saying
  5. His ability to shield the ball and win us free kicks in decent areas is something very useful indeed. The way he uses his body makes you have to jockey him or commit a foul/accurate tackle. Extremely intelligent for 18.
  6. Are the cup games on the red button?
  7. Totally agree with all that’s been said on this topic. For me this is our biggest risk to promotion, a inconsistent defence that can’t play the ball out of the back. Would love to see the completed passes for Wright/Baker yesterday...pretty much underpinned everything discussed in this thread! Surprised more people haven’t highlighted this!
  8. We have plenty of leadership potential In the squad and I’d take an improvement in technical ability over leadership all day long. There is no loyalty in football and Pack going to Cardiff shows how quickly he’s moved on, we as fans should say thanks for your efforts Marlon and do the same..move on and support the next generation!
  9. You’d think he’d on the road not sat in his pants eating popcorn with 5 hours left, guess things can be done in principle over the phone with photos etc done later
  10. Sat at home at the moment...is this a sign we have nothing incoming?
  11. Agreed, this guy is a short term fix for us. What’s to say Semenyo given a run could add that ‘Nketiah’ factor, a gamble agreed but having Semenyo and the inevitable ‘number 9’ we will sign by COP tomorrow I think you have hope of the top 6 considering the quality of the overall squad is stronger. Fans giving up the ghost after game one and a failed attempt at getting a loan need to have a sprinkle of realism. The aggregation of marginal gains across the squad will make us a stronger outfit. Let’s stay positive and enjoy the season. I don’t think of all the misery but of all the beauty that still remains - Ann Frank
  12. We need to nurture Semenyo into our Nketiah. He’s got the raw potential...it’s not the point I know but we need to think about our fixed assets and being our player more game time the better he should get. Trying to find the positives!
  13. Clearly we’d welcome him with open arms but we’d have to change our formation and style, a lot of hype to live up to on the lad shoulders! Also it’s not the proven number 9 Ashton quoted us in for? Does that signal we’re in for two?
