  1. Feels like a point gained instead of a 2 points dropped now! Huge game at Blackburn next week, 6 pointer!!
  2. Credit to the lad, strong performance from him. Room for improvement but he gave us glimpses of quality, that direct running from the middle gave us drive and momentum to actually pose a attacking threat rather than the sideways passing we’ve been subjected to for most of the season. A team performance to build off, for sure!!
  3. Probably the first sensible comment I’ve read since the full time whistle tonight. Standard embarrassing over reaction from our fan base. We lost in a typical football tale you’ve seen a 100 times before our errors played into their hands and mentally when Weimann gave them something to cling on to they did what we’ve done to many teams this season, men behind the ball and bodies on the line. Breaking down 11 men is difficult especially when our 3 centre half’s were forced into becoming dynamic creative midfielders which clearly doesn’t rank highly in Baker or Williams’s skillet. We got played at our own game but we’ve got a squad to bounce back. As for Johnson, not much he could do about Jack Hunt playing a first time pass instead of controlling and finding feet and then Weimann putting one in our onion bag. Only thing he can do is adjust the personnel and tactics to get a positive result vs Derby. LJ ain’t going nowhere, if your pissed off start whipping up a song and dance at the game and show some vocal support instead of bashing the bloke in the comfort of a Internet forum, we could do with some ******* voices at home.
  4. You weren’t at Shrewsbury on Tuesday night then. Early season form he’s been decent recently he’s looked more like Nicky Hunt!
  5. Credit to Pato, it must be hard to be shipped out against your will, replaced with new signings then welcomed back like nothing ever happened. (Admittedly a few assumptions made here) sounds like a top pro with a hard working attitude, hope he’s given a run now. LJ Recalling Pato and banishing Szmodics/Palmer could be perceived as an admission that perhaps his signings haven’t been as good as he thought. Nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors, but credit for the win, performance first half poor but 3 points and we move on to Tuesday. As fans we need to take the positives and start to get behind the team and see where a bit of positivity get us, we’re not far off a decent side in this league! Up the City!
  6. As a father of a beautiful 2 year old daughter this particularly hits home, nobody should go through that! I hope in time you can find your peace and make her proud! God bless all of your family!
  7. I’ve got one adult ticket - I can no longer make it as the Mrs has Norovirus and I’ve got to look after her and the kids. My old man and 3 mates are going and they have the tickets. if anyone wants it let me know
  8. Half glass full or half glass empty Rovers= Irrelevant Eisa = in the past, move on League table/Preston = 3 points tomorrow gets us second one point off top! Cheer up!
  9. Had Norwich fans heard of Teemu Pukki before he signed for Norwich? Just saying
  10. His ability to shield the ball and win us free kicks in decent areas is something very useful indeed. The way he uses his body makes you have to jockey him or commit a foul/accurate tackle. Extremely intelligent for 18.
  11. Are the cup games on the red button?
  12. Totally agree with all that’s been said on this topic. For me this is our biggest risk to promotion, a inconsistent defence that can’t play the ball out of the back. Would love to see the completed passes for Wright/Baker yesterday...pretty much underpinned everything discussed in this thread! Surprised more people haven’t highlighted this!
  13. We have plenty of leadership potential In the squad and I’d take an improvement in technical ability over leadership all day long. There is no loyalty in football and Pack going to Cardiff shows how quickly he’s moved on, we as fans should say thanks for your efforts Marlon and do the same..move on and support the next generation!
  14. You’d think he’d on the road not sat in his pants eating popcorn with 5 hours left, guess things can be done in principle over the phone with photos etc done later
