  1. Ok I admit it, I’m Downsy’s camera man! You happy now
  2. I’d take the code, planning to go on my own as I’m just back from Cornwall…I’ve got a ticket in my basket
  3. Haha, there’s me thinking I’m a creative genius. Any chance we can split the royalties? I need the money for my season ticket ??
  4. Singing…”what’s the story, Ross McCorrie….i need a little time to wake up wake up”
  5. Will be the first time many a floor in Sunderland has been wiped that’s for sure, shit hole is polite!
  6. Terrible incident, hope he pulls through! Easy to say in hindsight but health and safety reviews are needed at non-league grounds to insure player safety, easy to say but having played at Twerton and numerous non league grounds over the years it always crossed my mind as a player how easy it could be to plough uncontrollably into a concrete wall or floor next to the pitch!
  7. The beautiful game…you never know what will happen, regardless a decent away ground and atmosphere, BTTS seems highly likely, Weimann to end his scoreless streak…score draw seems to be the safest bet! Players surely want to make a statement after the recent dross, wouldn’t be surprised if we see a few unexpected starters in this one.
  8. I’d hope for a couple of decent defenders but will no doubt get prescribed anti-depressants.
  9. Scrappy, Keith Stroud in charge…so to get 3 points on that basis is massive, to that point how was that tackle from behind on Scott not a yellow? Scandalous but we’ve stopped the rot. onwards and upwards!
  10. Anyone else feel the missing bit of the jigsaw could be pushing Naismith to DCM and Kalas or Klose in a CB. Letting Naismith use both his natural ability to distribute and his core ability to defend?
  11. Has been leading by example - surely can’t be far off a Austrian call up, the guy fully deserves it and would probably do well at international level with that unbelievable work rate!
  12. We looked like a possession based footballing side with plenty of attacking threat and it was enjoyable to watch, you felt like something was going to happen when we went forward with intensity and for me as a fan that’s all you can ask, of course the weakness in defending set pieces has and will be debated until we find a solution but the young players have genuinely stepped up in aggression, confidence and quickly free flowing football, it’s exciting and Nige has to take credit for that. If we can keep this squad together and add the quality in certain areas last night has taught me we have reason to be optimistic. I’ve seen us play far worse and win, which was the first thing I was thinking as I exited the Luton away end through someone’s back garden..rare to feel that positive in defeat. Here’s hoping the confidence and performance levels continue to grow and we finish the season in positive momentum for next year.
  13. Fair point however it would be more constructive to feed some positive energy behind the lad rather than highlighting a hypothetical tactical situation/weakness that didn’t transpire in fact the change rightly or wrongly in anyone’s eyes resulted in a home win and 3 points, Benarous played his part. Agree I’m also hopeful he can bring some positivity to the season!
  14. Embarrassing how our ‘fans’ write a player off on 25 minutes, wasn’t the most complete performance, however it’s a start and hopefully more to come, plenty of energy and if you listened to his interview you’ll see he’s level headed enough to recognise his personal performance wasn’t at the level he wanted/expected. We’ve got some good young lads that will no doubt come good, fans have to play there part with a bit of reality abs patience.
