  1. I'm guessing that there will be a few OTIB posters that may sell their 'unwanted' tickets on here via DM. Will have to wait and see I guess.
  2. I'm not so sure. Pretty much every ST and Member that I've spoken to seems to be going. Being on a Sunday with a 2pm ko may put a few off. Going to be a nervous wait for those who aren't ST holders.
  3. I didn't see the kick to the head at first. Absolutely shocking. Cowardly act of the highest order.
  4. There's one for the kids Spudski.
  5. Agree its an absolute disgrace. He went down far too easily.
  6. No I'm really not missing the point. And my answer to point 2 above. I haven't seen anything very positive so far. If people are going to say that we have had more shots than under Pearson then we really are clutching at straws. I've got nothing against LM. I just don't think he is in any way a good fit or good enough to be our Head Coach. It certainly hasn't got anything to do with the dissatisfaction of the ownership, I'm sure they will all still be here a lot longer than what LM will be. So I'm resigned to this and will just have to put up with it. I was responding to Loosey Boy and not Harry's original post.
  7. I find it amazing that we as City fans forgive and forget so quickly. (this isn't a dig at you LB). We as fans have been royally f@cked over for many years and the last debacle with NP followed by the LM appointment was the proverbial straw. I have seen precious little to get excited about since LM came in. I don't see how anyone can see a draw at Huddersfield as a positive result. I've already written this season off as 'also rans'. I'm pretty sure that all we are going to hear now are lines like 'January is a tough time to do business' 'lets see what happens in the summer' ''we need a good pre season'. Same old sh!te and same old mid table obscurity.
  8. I don't listen to him Pre or Post Match interviews. I just can't stand it and yes. Already!
  9. We'd be lucky to get Carl. (one for the kids).
  10. We have every chance of getting out of this division. Unfortunately, not in the direction we want to go.
  11. I don't think you need to worry yourself. However, if they bring it to the Championship, I can only see things getting worse.
  12. The Vetch for me. They had broken glass set in the cement on top of the walls. To keep people in !!!
  13. I'm glad the International break is over. Apart from that, I'm not particularly excited or looking forward to the game. I really hope that the boys do well tomorrow and that the new Coaching team get the result and the performance they want. When a new Management or Coaching team come in, there is usually a bit of a buzz or expectation that a new era may be dawning. It just doesn't feel that way this time. Good luck to everyone.
  14. Wasn't Martin Kuhl a lush or was it just Pies or a combination?
  15. McIndoe used sessions as seminars for his 'schemes'. (I made this up by the way).
  16. With a bit of AI thrown in, I could be LM in that interview and nobody would've known the difference. Not his fault as he couldn't really answer the questions any differently could he? I'm sure we will see more of the same in the proper presser but hopefully an update on injury progress and news that those away on international duty returned unscathed.
  17. How on earth will that monstrosity have a capacity of 3414? Has it got 2500 restricted view seats?
  18. I heard that GJ was on 4k a week hence my comment a while back that I thought 100k / 150 as an average for a League 1 Manager seemed to be low. I live near Torquay and know season ticket holders and they think the 4k a week is correct. Can't be right for National League South can it? Mind you a ticket where varies between £19 and £22 at Plainmoor. Sounds bonkers to me!
  19. Apologies. Just seen the RedRoss post above. Mind you if that is 3 years ago, maybe things have changed since COVID.
  20. I wonder what LM is being paid by City now? I must admit, I'm surprised that the average for a League 1 Manager / Head coach is only 100k to 150k pa though. Seems a bit low to me.
  21. Not totally devoid of optimism but not excited and definitely not particularly intrigued. I think he did well in that it's been a bit of a whirlwind time of it. I thought the intro to the players in the meeting room was really awkward. Totally agree on the LJ bit. I really couldn't stomach anymore of listening to that. Of course the proof will be what happens on the grass. He intimated that he won't have time to make too many changes and implement his style in the short lead up to the QPR game. So, I'd imagine we will see a similar shape as we would have under NP. If you listen to most coaches, they say the same sort of stuff and can't think of anything that he said that made me think he is different in any way. At least he didn't try and bullshit with too much technical jargon. He did say about pressing and going over the top of the press. It stuck in my mind a bit and if and when I get time, I will try and find it and quote what he said.
