New Shirt Sponsor to be announced

i cannot be arsed to read all seven pages so forgive me if I duplicate others opinions. It seems to me that the huge number of on-line betting companies indicates that this is a very, very profitable business. The CEO of BET365 last year was the highest CEO of any British company and trousered an eye-watering £200,000,000. I feel punters should seriously consider where this ludicrous amount of money comes from.

    Meeting footballers in unexpected places.

In the late 70s I once stayed at the Liverpool Holiday Inn. After a swim I went into the sauna. The only other occupant was Graham Souness who was reading The Sun. (A tiddler since you ask.) In the evening at dinner he was at the next table with Steve Heighway. I gained the impression that GS was a miserable sod but SH was a lively, friendly cove. I also saw GS at the Grand National Dinner at The Adelphi - he was well pissed - but then so was everyone else.

    Meeting footballers in unexpected places.

I was on a trade jolly to a Charity Shield match. There were several retired "names" in the party. I asked Bob Paisley to sign my programme for my son. He said "how do you spell Benjamin"? I said Ben will be fine. Bobby Moore was also there - no surprise, he was a lovely man. Also spoke to Kenny Dalgleish but have no idea what he said.
  4. I lived there for two years in the 70s so I will pre-empt Big Tone and assure you that it really is a shithole.
  5. You could be right. Lets see what happens on sunday.
  6. Believe me, I have tried all that. Bit pissed off here. Good job the local vino is cheap!
  7. Mine is from Barcelona.......
  8. I have tried using Firefox and Chrome but both fail.
  9. BCTV dreadful again. Sorry to keep banging on about it but it is simply not fit for purpose. Three times it has frozen and I have missed both goals and now rely on OTIB to keep me informed.
  10. City 67% possession according to bbc.

Thank you for your comments. Have a nice day.

What makes it particularly annoying is that on the rare occasions when a match is broadcast by BCTV, the chances are that it will freeze, break down or just be unwatchable. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of trouble free games I have seen (and I am not from Swindon).

It is not available to us mugs who coughed up £110. I e-mailed the club and they responded telling me that the next fixture available to us subscribers will be City v Fulham on 21st February. I consider this an utter disgrace and I am seeking legal opinion (most of my relatives are lawyers). One game per month is not what we signed up for!

    QPR game live international coverage

I e-mailed the club and have just received this response. "Unfortunately the game will not be shown on BCTV as it has been chosen as an international broadcast fixture. Due to Sky and international broadcast games, the next fixture which will be eligible for live BCTV+ video streaming will be City v Fulham on February 21st. All games will be available for audio commentary through BCTV+." I feel cheated.

    QPR game live international coverage

This is proving to be a total waste of money. Few games are available to us subscribers and those that are shown usually break down and are unwatchable. This is very shabby treatment and not worthy of our club.
