  1. Ryanair

I have only flown with Ryanair once - never again. As a previous poster has said, they treat their staff dreadfully and consequently lose pilots to Norwegian and other airlines at the drop of a hat. When you are on a Ryanair flight you are bombarded with attempts to sell you just about everything - food, drinks, perfume, scratchcards - you name it. Just before landing there is a self-congratulatory fanfare - we have arrived early! They don't mention that they allow more time for the flight than their competitors. During the one flight I took with them I sat wondering what would happen in an emergency. The cabin staff all looked as if they should be in school and did not seem terribly bright. My step-daughter works for another airline and when they report for duty they are asked a number of questions regarding safety. If they get one wrong they don't fly. In the event of an emergency on a Ryanair 'plane I would rely on my own instincts not those of an adolescent in a uniform who, incidentally, has to pay for that uniform. Michael O'Leary is quite the most objectionable company boss I have ever come across and I am not surprised by this turn of events. In fairness I will admit that their aircraft are modern and appear to be well maintained.

Much better - froze briefly just before kick-off, then again at 27 mins and 31 mins. Also during ht but no problems during second half. And what a game!
  3. I watched on BCTV and, for once, saw most of the game. I have to say that I thought BC were brilliant - some of the best football I have ever seen in watching BC for nearly fifty years. I am talking about skill which, for so long, was pushed aside by effort. Today, skill was king. Long live skill!

Fingers crossed for this afternoon. Have only been able to watch one full game so far.

BOTH jacket buttons done up! Well, really!
  7. City Foundation

I won £100 a good few years back but, as several others have said, one does it for the good of the club.

First half brilliant then, second half dreadful with constant freezing and having to re-start. Have now given up. For goodness sake BCTV get a grip and sort this out. It is disgraceful!

Having read the announcement regarding the Sky/EFL deal, I am still not sure how this is going to affect us ex-pats. Does anyone have any info they could share? Also, it will be interesting to see if any gremlins have been removed and I get to see at least some of the Wolves game.
  10. Sky Sports next year - Live Championship games

Simon Stone writing on the BBC Website says "away fans willing to undertake (long distance) trips are unlikely to be put off by an ability to watch them on a live stream." Really?

Yes, those of us who have been driven mad by this dreadful "service" must make our feelings known.
  12. Exiles can watch every City game next season (Merged)

Does anyone know how the clubs who went with the EFL system are getting on?
  13. Exiles can watch every City game next season (Merged)

Me too. This is disgraceful. Five time in the first half I had to re-boot. Now in the second half I can get nothing. I am truly furious. This should have been sorthed weeks ago. Amateurish at best. Will be in contact with the club on monday re compensation. Am spitting tacks here.

Interesting. I have been using Mozilla but will give Chrome a try on saturday. The "support" service just ignore me - disgraceful.
