  1. Noooooo The very best pies are the Higgiddy Pies sold at Brighton Mmmm And they sell Harvey's Bitter Go south my son.
  2. It is obvious to everyone that TM is a class defender (almost) in the Bobby Moore style - and you cannot say better than that! So why was he sent out on loan when his presence was so obviously needed last night and on saturday? One could also ask the same question regarding Matty Taylor who, though not quite in the TM class, can be very useful in a "nuisance" role thus making opportunities for others. We seem very keen to welcome mediocre players into the team while ignoring existing talent.
  3. Hands careless is mano descuido (pronounced manyo deskweedo). Not familiar with the works of the, ahem, late great Mr O'Connor.
  4. And on Tuesday, Mickey Mellon's Tranmere do the same.
  5. At the risk of sounding a kill-joy, I would happily see the end of gambling on soccer. People should realise that the bookies are making a fortune from the punters. For example, the CEO of Bet365 scrapes by on a salary of one million pounds per day!
  6. Two decent blokes. Good luck to them (after saturday).
  7. Thanks for the response. I don't understand why I receive a perfect picture one week and a terrible one the next. I have tried both Google and Firefox with no difference. I am a dinosaur in these matters so will have a word with my local boffin. Thanks again.
  8. I'm afraid you do have it right. I don't know who is showing it but I shall pop down to my local bar in the hope that it may be on their telly. I also understand that, in November, at least three games are on Sky which means they will not be on Robins TV. Last week the game was constantly freezing which seems to happen quite regularly. The £110 I coughed up is beginning to look like a poor investment.
  9. There is no mention of BCTV on the club web-site (all you need to know about BC v Palace). So, we ex-pats wait with baited breath.
  10. I have often wondered................do Millwall and Leeds play "friendlies"? And, if so, against whom?
  11. How nice it would have been to see the end of the game and the winning goal but unfortunately I, and I suspect, others were deprived of this pleasure by the crap service provided by BCTV who froze the game at the wrong moment. GGrrrrr
  12. The BC website confirms that the game is on BCTV for overseas subscribers.
