If people want to criticise his performance as Technical Director, I have no problem with that at all.
Predictably for OTIB some of the things said about him recently have been insulting and childish.

He retained possession pretty well. Could do with that now.

Similarly for Tomlin as mentioned above, whilst I didn't see this one live I remember his doing something to the ball as he was approaching goal, put backspin on it or something, so that it came up off the turf and sat up for him in a perfect position from which he scored, like someone had gently thrown it to him at knee height.
The last goal in this game

His stock must be falling pretty fast. Who's going to have him at this level now?

Probably the one player who looked like making something happen after he came over to the left hand side.
I agree with that.
He's still frustrating to watch though.

Mehmeti is such a frustrating player to watch

We are screwed and it's my fault as I've put City to win on my accy.
I apologise unreservedly for my confidence and will lock myself in a darkened room after the game.
I think a darkened room is insufficient.
If we fail to win you should be forced to watch repeat after repeat of the game until you have well and truly learned your lesson.

Where have you got only 6% of people work “9-5 hours” from? Not sure why that’s specifically relevant here either, it would affect a few people true but there will a fair few who can’t make a Saturday afternoon - eg I’ve managed to make 4/5 more games than I normally would in that time.
I think it’s raised every time about the under 12s ST and that’s probably playing a part - as well as people moving seats, not least because if you have an ST in the Sourh Stand then it’s almost impossible to bring a mate and sit with them.
On the subject of moving seats, I remember as a kid when we were shit enough that my dad and I would move along the Williams to the end we were attacking each game and there was plenty of room
As for getting to the game, there’s loads of parking options in Bedminster and easy enough to get away.
It was from a Yougov poll. It is indirectly relevant as many of the remaining 94% will having working hours that make it difficult to attend fixtures that have been moved. I accept that some people will find it beneficial as you do, but personally I would not buy a season ticket if I was unable to make Saturday games as this is when games are traditionally played.
You make the parking sound so easy. It's a wonder so many people have trouble with it.

We've had one Saturday 3pm kick-off at home in 2024.
In December, we also had only one Saturday 3pm kick off.
At a time where only ~6% of people work 9-5 hours combined with the number of games that do not kick off on a traditional match day at a traditional time, I think you will continue to see empty seats on a game by game basis.

No he didn’t. You’ve repeated that line several times over the years and you’ve been shown he didn’t say it.
He said this, in a Telegraph interview
"Despite my refereeing experiences around the world, I cannot recall a greater contrast between players than at the final whistle. Bristol City, who had scored two late goals to qualify, were ecstatic, while all connected with Hartlepool were in despair. The noise within the stadium when the two home goals went in was incredible and compared favourably with a full Nou Camp for a Champions League quarter-final."

The 3-2 win over Rovers just before Christmas 2000 was pretty good. Friday night wasn't it?

Having not seen the game, and as someone who has expressed doubts over Liam’s in game management, I’m just posting here to say I’m not hiding - I just don’t think I’m appropriately qualified to comment today so will leave the debate to the rest of you!
When did not being in possession of the facts make anyone unqualified to post on OTIB.
Posts and comments from people not appropriately qualified are absolutely the lifeblood of this place.
I demand to know your thoughts on today's game.

Can't decide whether to have a massive meltdown before the game and quietly slope off post match when we win, or just be generally negative and snipe at anyone employed by the club for the next couple of hours.
Any tips/ideas appreciated
The latter please. A general forum overreaction/meltdown will be far more entertaining than the game.

Way more than he was entitled too? Wasn’t he about 6ft 5”?
Yeah, he was.
Poorly phrased, I suppose.
He often moved a long way to even stand a chance of winning the ball and at times won it at a decent stretch.

Won everything in the air. Way more than he was entitled to.

Vyner was centre back and gave the ball away less than his fellow centre backs. That was all I was pointing out. No thread on Tanner or Dickie’s distribution.
It's almost like people can't wait to jump on anything he does wrong
Personally I'm not going to be too critical of passes that don't come off when he's trying to get us going forward.
