  1. Early in the season we conceded a goal when Taylor Moore tried to stop a through ball to an offside player who was then deemed to be onside because of Moore's interference. Against Huddersfield Famara Diédhiou was offside but their goalkeeper parried a shot to him and he scored. Disallowed offside. Can any of the experts explain the difference? Sorry the Fulham game is not up on the site yet so I watched a bit of Huddersfield.
  2. TV commentators apologising for bad language you didn't hear anyway. More seriously, we no longer hear away fans chanting during a minute's silence or applause.
  3. Just like Bristol, Malwarebytes is red. (part 2 of an occasional series) I just tried to get to Gaschat for some amusement. Blocked due to trojans, or lack of football content, or something.
  4. Sorry but for a nailed on promotion we need a No 1 hit from the Wurzels.
  5. Just won 50p playing poker. Is there a Bristol club I could afford?
  6. I do try to avoid this thread but keep getting drawn back. Apparently Bavaria, like Bristol. is red
  7. Gerry and the Pacemakers hit 1963, Liverpool band.
  8. It is rugby night on Radio Bristol and Points West is featuring Swindon v FGR.
  9. This forum is "football chat" not specifically City. Have any of the objectors contributed to the frequent Colin threads?
  10. The mods can help here. They merge other topics.
  11. I can imagine a bunch of farmers at the end of the stone age trying to understand the words used when some guy came along and tried to get people to dig into the hills for copper and tin. This kind of job advert weeds out the unqualified effectively. if you don't understand the words (and that includes me) there is no need to apply. Nowadays players don't train for 2 hours and spend the rest of the day in the pub. For better or for worse the world has changed.
  12. As the op says, many threads are taken over by the Johnson Out brigade. Right now it is quite hard to find a thread that interests me and doesn't end up turned.
  13. Just a coincidence, but I was listening to King Crimson today and heard this: Your admirers on the street Got to hoot and stamp their feet In the heat from your physique As you twinkle by mocassin sneakers And I thought my heart would break When you doubled up the stake With your fingers all a shake You could never tell a winner from a snake (Easy Money) Didn't someone say our neighbours are looking for a new song?
