  1. Brilliant race yesterday from a tactical perspective. I'm a LH fan but brilliant drive from Max. Convinced he was saving some of his tyres life for those last few laps when Lewis had closed the gap to nearly within DRS range. Great effort from Perez as well as was ill before the race and then had no drink for the entire thing.
  2. I'm fairly sure I've watched every Louis Theroux documentary released and they are always brilliant without exception. His awkwardness in the earlier ones add to the greatness of them.
  3. As this game is still in October I don't see it as a 'must win' to avoid relegation worries as there are so many games left to go. However it is must win game in terms of breaking the terrible home form and getting the fans back on side. If we lose to Barnsley I can see the next home game attendance being 12/13k.
  4. I think we'll get a point tomorrow, West Brom looked poor at Swansea.
  5. Also watched this on Friday night. Thought it was a decent scare Halloween style film on it's own merits. However didn't think it was a particularly good addition to the series as got almost too ridiculous at the end for me. Think it would have been better if it had ended 5 minutes before it did, leaving him laying on the ground unsure of his state.
  6. Jesus if you think we're struggling for goals now, would be even worse with that starting XI.
  7. It shows what a lot of us have known for a while now, that he is one of, if not the most important outfield player. Much worse team when he doesn't play.
  8. I'm surprised no one has suggested yet that they would buy the Gas for a bit of fun. Run the club terribly, pump no money into it but take everything you could out, relegate them back to non-league, buy out Millets to install some new tents at the Mem. You could have all that fun and still have £183.7 million left in the bank.
  9. Simple in a way - keep the people close who are close to you now. Any new people that come crawling out the woodwork will be fairly obvious. Can also see how that much money would lead to some people being dead within a year.
  10. On the donation side I think you would have to target something you felt strongly about as you couldn't possibly help everyone in the world. I wonder how much of the club you could realistically purchase?
  11. As the current Euromillions Lottery jackpot is £184 million and if won by 1 ticket would be the biggest UK winner ever, seems a good time to ask the question, what would you genuinely do with that sort of money if you won? Personally I would buy all my friends and family something that would set them up for life, houses probably so no mortgage worries ever. For myself I would buy properties in my favourite countries in the world and probably 100+ cars. And of course a permanent box at the gate. As for giving money away, I wouldn't give directly to charities but would set up something that helped those children around the world that need X amounts of money for pioneering surgery etc.
  12. I'm sure this will fit in brilliantly with the the FA's stance of Kick it Out.
  13. Not football but there used to be a Nascar driver called Dick Trickle
  14. https://news.sky.com/story/greggs-warns-of-rising-price-pressures-and-shortages-but-plots-store-expansion-12426302 Nearly a second bit of bad news in 2 days for Lee.
  15. Week from hell? Can't be that bad mate it's only Monday.
  16. He'll go somewhere on a 1 month deal. Score 3, set up 2, pick up player of the month. Get offered a 3 year deal and then put his feet up once again, horrible bloke.
  17. Bentley Tanner Kalas Atkinson JD Massengo James King Pring Weimann Martin
  18. Based on what though? His form at QPR? Still yet to really prove anything in a City shirt. If we had replaced Diedhiou in the summer I think Wells would be no where near the squad let alone starting.
  19. Not sure it would have much effect during the game itself as he prefers to sit up in the stand anyway rather than on the touchline barking out orders.
  20. Why? O'Dowda been near to useless under 3 different managers. 157 appearances, 9 goals and 16 assists says it all.
  21. Agreed he shouldn't have started. Not sure Palmer is the answer though. Stick Alex Scott up there to be a nuisance, he's got some pace about him.
  22. We could very easily have afforded Afobe but buying a 28 year old player who has had 2 similar season ending serious injuries would not be a wise move. Great bloke but glad we didn't take the risk on him.
  23. In fairness to Martin, he looked knackered from 5 minutes in. Not sure a 32 year old can do Sat, Tues 180 mins. Agree with others strange decision to start Baker who needed injections, seems an unnecessary risk with 2 other defenders on the bench. To be fair to O'Dowda we're only 10 games in he doesn't want to have his 1 impactful game a season too early on, long way to go yet.
