  1. Nagy a 8 for me if he took the great chance to score would of been a 9. A defensive midfielder with pace and energy just what we been missing and looked like he had all the time in the world to pick a pass, which is always a great sign of a good player. The way he ran with ball and always picked the correct pass reminded me of a young Fabregas.
  2. Thought we out sung them all game bar one song when they scored. We think Ashton Gate is quiet at times but didn’t hear a peep from them apart from goal.
  3. James Milner on loan by looks of it so pack can rest up
  4. We had this last season high pressing quick passing. Yes we lost Reid that was big part of this but thought signing Andre was like for like. I don’t know what our identity is anymore nor the players going by today.
  5. What pub are we meeting seems a little quiet round here tonight
  6. Played for his team only last season great bloke and football was his life rip Dessi
  7. Was there for his only city goal I believe 0-5 win at vetch field my first away game. Best memory chip shop near the ground after the game, city fan kicking off as they didn’t have any or heard of Clarke’s pies.
  8. Can’t believe Carlton Palmer and Geoff Thomas not the centre mids
  9. Spot on Zider I love the old East end the atmosphere was amazing. Match days so different now with the boxes and bars and it was needed. Just don’t feel as close to the club as we did back then. I’m happy to progress slowly each season and then we may attract better players as they see a team going places and want a piece of it.
  10. I agree your right but expectations seem to have changed this time since our promotion with Cotts. Previous we were happy to just stay up and there was not clubs with premiership payments back then. It’s such a competitive league.
  11. Was just wondering what people’s opinions were on fans expectations since the rebuild. It seems when we had the old Ashton Gate we were very happy to survive in the championship, remember a few close scares where we we’re overjoyed to just stay up. The majority of supporters nowadays seem to think we should be a top six side at least, my point is, is it now we have the new stadium we now think we deserve to be a big fish and have progressed so quickly would we feel the same in the old Ashton gate as little Bristol City?
  12. Was it 1989 Liverpool v Arsenal where Arsenal had to win by 2 clear goals? Last time I remember a massive top six game last game of the season.
  13. Like others wanted Johnson to get through another bad spell but it’s de ja vu for 2 years. Need a fresh approach with new manager and ideas
  14. More than happy for Luke Williams to take them not seen him miss one penalty for us
