BBC Sport are reporting;
Director of Football Neil Dewsnip and first-team coach Kevin Nancekivell will take charge of the team for the remainder of the season.
First team coach Simon Ireland and goalkeeping coach Daryl Flahavan - who joined the club under Foster - will stay on their roles.
No new saviour it seems...

West Ham v Brighton today, if the Hammers win it's definitely game over for us isn't it?
In all honesty, I think it’s been all over since we last played West Ham back in January.

It was a problem with both teams having white socks.
Ah, I see.
That seems a bit silly.

They used Cotts to get them promoted then the second he questioned the board he was gone(when they were interfering in transfer negotiations) and Lee Johnson a championship novice coach brought in. Pearson was brought in to sort out our financial mess and use the Academy players on a limited budget. Once he sorted out the mess and started to question the people above him he was suddenly sacked and another novice championship coach brought in!

What a ridiculous post. Have a go at those in charge for anything you want as long as it’s true. Accusing them of not caring is completely ridiculous. Poo poo.
FNQ does have a point, to be fair.

....from everyone in it together, players and fans under NP, all pulling together, getting it, fighting, respect, understanding...a feeling of we are all pulling in the same direction. A feeling of togetherness. Fighting, supportive, but respectful and knowing our ability and limits.
To this bullshit within a few months.
Talk about not understanding football, your fanbase, and totally thinking you and the squad are better than they are.
Delusional.
It's a reflection of how many in Government/Politics read and understand the country and what's needed.
In it for themselves...out of their depth and massively delusional.
The fact a fan base can see it, call it...but our ' leaders' can't is stunning.
' Tecknically and Proffesionally ' sp inept.
Brilliant post. Totally totally on the money.

Sack.
We’re confusing two arguments on this thread. SL, JL, BT are deluded with no track record in successful football decision making. Ideally they’d all go in my opinion. This club needs a re-boot.
However the question is should Manning be sacked and, well, he took the job… the remit (however deluded) was clear… get this top-end championship squad performing like a top-end championship squad. If he thought that wasn’t achievable he shouldn’t have taken the role.
Is he achieving that clear objective today? No. Do I think he will by the end of the season - no. Does he have the maturity and experience to find a way to change his way or compromise to improve things? From what I’ve seen - no way. Are there fundamental problems at this football club and is Manning the man to stand up to the hierarchy and get them sorted? No…. He knows what happens to people who challenge the leadership here (and still took the job!).
Is his brand of football modern? Yes. Exciting? No. Unique? No…. It’s copying flavour of the month without creativity.
Bottom line for me, have I enjoyed watching us on his watch - no. If we’re a run of the mill championship club… let’s at least make it enjoyable.
Excellent post.

I've never seen so many people moan as I have since manning took charge. Some of the flack he has took is a joke. New to this standard and club it would always take a bit of time. We have put good performances in the cup and if we can replicate that in the league we will do well. Watford away was outstanding and today was also pretty spot on from the small part i watched ( I was working today)
I really think that people are giving him the flack for decisions that are beyond his control (NP sacking).
We are safe this season, so just sit back, shut the fck up and lets see what happens in August.
EDIT
Oh and if you want to slag me off for daring to see things different, go ahead. I could not give a shit.
If watching City really pisses you off that much, you can always go and watch the sags. You wont be missed. You sound a bit angry.

Good.
I also think an enforced spanking might be in order.

First half yes, they played like they'd only just met each other, 2nd half much better. I live in hope it'll all gel at some point. Missed Layzell today, injured presumably.
I heard a rumour that she’s off to Villa
