  1. Fine for the first 15 mins then pixelated until about the 85th minute, just in time to see the Stoke winner. All round a miserable afternoon.
  2. 2-0 up and we let it go to our heads. Looked like a load of dizzy school girls at a boy band concert. We got way with it against Plymouth, but this time when Stoke made it 2-1 you could feel the change in momentum.
  3. “I do not like apple crumble” im not overly fond either Cyril, but Rhubarb Crumble, yum yum, especially with custard.
  4. “I'm assuming Katie Mangan is his wife, was she there as a character witness or as she was there when the incident happened?” Could be his wife, could be his sister, could be both.
  5. As it happens I thought neither were a penalty, Romero’s hand was in a natural position as a lunged forward, plus he was only a yard away from the shot. In addition Bissouma was directly behind Romero and would have blocked the shot on the line. My point was, you can bet your bottom dollar if Arsenal had been playing Leicester, a penalty would have been given.
  6. It was as much a pen as the one awarded against Romero yesterday, but hey we’re not Arsenal.
  7. Can’t fault the effort. Lack of quality at critical moments. Lots to be optimistic about.
  8. Zak out with a knee injury. To be assessed over the next few days - Nige on RTV
  9. A free hit in that we're not expected to get anything from the game, so anything we do get will be a bonus. Hope we are able to give them a proper game and don’t gift them anything.
  10. I’m not trying to be sarcastic or snide, but I really hope Steve Lansdown watches that interview.
  11. Trevor Jacobs, Tony Ford, Ray Cashley, Donnie Gilles, to name a few, all played out the sunset of their careers in front of the unwashed hordes.
  12. About from Max’s brain fade, from which they should have scored.
  13. Yes, back to red for me too.
  14. The di lithium crystals couldnae handle a 4-1 home win.
  15. What’s with the horrible blue trim?
  16. Agreed. Owers clearly didn’t want to speculate. But if the CEO had left for personal reasons, be it travel, family illness etc, it would have been straightforward for both the club and Mr Alexander to issue statements saying he was leaving for personal reasons. The fact that neither did, to my mind implies there was some form of disagreement.
  17. No way it was a clear and obvious error. The ref should have had the balls to stand by his own judgement.
  18. FWIW I think Massengo is a long way short of being premier league standard. Can see him being shipped out on loan in January, to a championship club or back to France.
  19. Exactly. Championship clubs that are closer than Plymouth: Cardiff, Swansea, WBA, Brum, Southampton, Coventry, QPR and as you say at a push Millwall and possibly Watford.
  20. Phil Alexander has stood down as Bristol City CEO, Bristol Live understands, just eight months after the former Crystal Palace chief executive took over at Ashton Gate. The above quote seems to imply he jumped rather than was pushed. Written by James Piercy who seems to know what goes on at the club.
  21. Admitting that we sold our best young player in my lifetime, because the owner wasn’t prepared to cover the cost of this year’s deficit, wouldn’t have gone down well.
  22. The Hawthorns is about 30 miles closer to AG than Home Park, but nobody talks about WBA being a derby.
