I know his quality has been done to death on here but going to ask the question anyway…

Scrolling through twitter I see that the England U21s have two fixtures in March. Has he done enough for a call up? How shocked would you be if he wasn’t selected in the U21 squad? Does his value increase further with an U21 cap to his name?

There are some quality players in the squad at present but no one that seems to be impressing week in week out like Scott is currently doing.

It’s the sub 20 World Cup this summer.  That’s his age group and almost certainly to be picked having been an important member of the sub 19 Euro winners last summer.

I understand a few ST holders may not goto every game. But the south stand is sold out every game on the ticketing page! Loads of empty seats today too even tho whole ground was meant to be close to a sell out!

    Official attendance 23,757.

Same here. Many of us were questioning why four at the back wouldn't work for months before Nige eventually changed formation. He was adament we didn't have the players to play that formation, but it is evident we do.

Interesting that I have not seen him quizzed on this by any journalists. I am sure there is an explanation, be interested to know what it is...

I would have thought the explanation was self evident.  Before he didn’t have faith in Pring, Atkinson etc, now he does.
    Credit all round.

Overall attendance of 8,025. Today at Lincoln.

    Away following of 552.

They ALWAYS travel in numbers   Apparently, our 900 at PNE last week was ‘pathetic’.

TBF that’s an impressive attendance for Lincoln, but then the mighty Bristol Boca Juniors is a major attraction.

  5. Well, this didn’t go too well did it?
You know when you’re really looking forward to a great weekend of sports?
Gas - lost at home to the franchise cants
The 41 year franchise cants won ?
England lost at Twickenham to the jocks
My 60 year old penis is shrinking by every passing minute
The wife’s fanny is getting less moist every passing minute
By the way the last 2 are not sports related, unfortunately they used to be though.
    Anyway faithful & true FTG!

I love winning ugly. It's inviting pressure and riding our luck that I don't enjoy so much.

Max’s mistake certainly made the afternoon more difficult than it should have been, but I didn’t see a team riding its luck, I saw a team defending to a man.

Very true and I thought Preston were good second half.

I think we were careless at times though.

Commitment and desire exceptional. Execution a little ragged at times.

Winning ugly away from home is a prerequisite of a successful side.  What I’ve found encouraging is the upturn in the quality of home performances, particularly last week and against Brum.

That movement isn’t learned it’s natural, the centre back didn’t have a clue where he was

He’s a natural Johnny on the Spot.  As you say, you can’t teach being at the right place at the right time.

What a mare being a professional footballer can be, just imagine this happening to you with just five minutes of the transfer window left…..

22:55 Lamare Bogarde [Aston Villa - Bristol Rovers] Loan

He’s the nephew of Winston Bogarde who took Chelsea to the cleaners.  40 grand a week, 4 year contract, played 11 times.  Refused to compromise on his contract.  Used to fly in from Holland, train by himself and fly back again.
