Yep, that's how I saw it. Quite surprised when I saw this thread, I didn't think he played particularly well!
  2. Love Wrighty. He's an Arsenal fan and you can see why he wanted Nketiah to go to Leeds - title favourites, big crowds, Bielsa... Sh*t happens!
  3. What a muppet! Typical Brexiter logic.
  4. Fantastic post! Another international signed this morning from Serie A. Great time to be a City fan.
  5. In the current system, up front on his own? Not a chance.
  6. Yes but we needed goals last season to turn those home draws into wins and make the playoffs. Plus we've sold our best defender, have a new goalkeeper who is coming off a poor season at Brentford and might need a goalscorer to bail us out more often this year. We cannot rely on Famara on his own. Taylor and Weimann will never score more than 8-10. Our new goalscoring midfielder, Szmodics is unproven at this level. Without the addition of 15 goals+ from another forward, I can't see us troubling the top six at all.
  7. You've lost me a bit. Why mention his goalscoring record and then say we don't really need a goalscorer? I think you're making this up as you go along.
  8. How many players bag 20 goals a season at this level each season? I'm genuinely curious who you think is a better, realistic option.
  9. Twice is pretty good considering he's played at Championship level and above, smart arse.
  10. Why does that make Gabby Logan a 'daft bint'?
