Option to move to a different part of the stadium plus £10 compo.
Absolute shambles of a so called professional football club.

Not quite sure The Saggies have got a full understanding of this planning malarkey.
Valid grounds in support of an application doesn’t include ‘give us a break for god sake’.
Does the Sag Official in charge of this project live in Oxford by any chance?
Great for Bristol mind

According to this Sag their new ‘stand’ is genuinely labelled A-H like an IKEA flat pack

Wow. Just wow! Anyone remember the Gash support in our World Cup bid? No thought not. Losers.

They will be given the standing terrace on the side
They have to offer a certain amount of seating to away fans. I believe they’ve yet to send Barnsley any info regarding tickets with the game just 2 weeks away. That club is the definition of tinpot.

Imagine how low one's expectations must be when you can be smug that a new stand will only take 1 week to build & fit out..!
Surely it will take longer than a week to decorate, put up required signage & install all the concessions facilities..?
Have they even got a dodgy sky box ordered to be able to stream Babestation to the masses yet..?
As far as I'm aware, the actual build (which I'm assuming must be some kind of modular, click together type solution) doesn't actually take very long atall - it's all the dressing of the new structure that takes time & then, as many have already said - test events & getting the safety certificates issued...
If it only takes a week or 2, then why not have had it done already.?!
Takes less than 30 seconds to put up a pasting table.

I find it hilarious their argument for getting a temporary stand is “well it has a 12k capacity before so it shouldn’t need planning permission”. Ashton gate had 43k in the past does that mean we can add an extra 15k to it without any planning permission? No it doesn’t, you expect a small minority of fans from all teams to not have a grasp on reality but it seems higher with that lot.
I was recently down the pub with a gas head mate and after a few pints the nonsense started coming out (from a usually sound mind) claims of “the only thing city have over rovers is the stadium” “tilson isn’t their record signing” apparently they broke that record at some point since 2000. “Wael has money, but doesn’t want to waste it and spends it wisely. They’re not in hardly any debt as Wael does what lansdown does and coverts it to shares”. “They’re building the club up behind the scenes and will be in the championship soon” and finally once they get “their” new stadium what are city gonna do then as rovers will be equal and challenging them. I asked about the free stadium and the response was, it’s all made up be jealous city fans and the sale of the cabbage patch with Waels millions will they will self fund the stadium.
Standard Sag bullshit. Deluded

One other thing about today was the parking.
I parked in the City car park and registered my car for two hours parking for free using the registration tablet in the coffee shop. There were big queues for the payment machines outside the coffee shop. You don't need to pay to park there and it takes about 30 seconds to register the car in the coffee shop - why isn't/wasn't that advertised ? Or is that just for the coffee shop ? Just seems a bit strange.

It's also being reported that they will offer him €200m a year in wages and a one year release clause that can only be triggered by Real Madrid!
And the rest! If this is to be believed…

If a move is imminent then why play him in pre-season friendlies?
Risking a £25m asset in games that don't mean much at all to the future of Scott. For us too, in a sense if a move is imminent why play him in games in which we will soon have to replace.
I don't doubt that a move could be imminent and a leaving out wouldn't be borne out if petulance or anything but trying to rhink or the economic or even team building rationale for playing him in Behind Closed Doors pre season friendlies in that context.
Exactly this. If anything was even remotely close he wouldn’t of been playing yesterday.

Good, but i wonder why it's restricted to season ticket holders?
The old pre season open days were open to everyone and very well supported.
Trial the new ticket scanners possibly? Agree though re open days.

That's true but Wael has been soaking up big losses for years, albeit a small fraction of those that the Lansdown family pick up for City, so unless he's running out of money this isn't going to be a problem.
Football clubs don't have the same business rules as other companies, losing millions a year is absolutely standard.
I suggested that the loan was taken out to try to impose some financial rigour upon the club in the same manner that the Ashton Gate redevelopment was funded by a third party loan, which the income from the new structures are steadily repaying.
@bert tann suggested otherwise and that it was a sign of stretched finances.
I don't have his inside track but I would have thought that if Wael is either running low on funds or no longer wishes to keep pouring the money in each year then he would have put the club up for sale rather than taking out a loan.
Think @Kid in the Riot has said previously that Wally is/was actively looking to sell up?

Thinking about what Shags said £20 million plus add ons could be good for us. One good season, holding his own in the Prem, and he will probably be snapped up by a bigger team meaning we get funds next season as well.
That's what most said about Lloyd Kelly, personally think he'll struggle to stand out plying his trade at Bournemouth.

It's what they do. Typical Rovers bullshit. Yet their fans believe everything they are told, as since they released that pitiful statement they (bar a couple) are still blaming BCC for their shittyness.
