Course it didn’t bother them....that’s why they are still spitting bile nearly 16 months after the transfer took place! Can’t remember us doing the same when Steve Phillips went the other way in 2006.....

Always makes me laugh when it’s bought up about Phillips signing for the Gas, remember him all flashy in his Porsche whilst here with his STOPP4 (something like that) number plate, signs for the pikeys and has to flog it, next thing he’s driving around in a mini :laughcont:

No, because it never happened. As per usual they just make stuff up as they go along like a bunch of attention seeking children.

They do have form when it comes to lying through their teeth as we all know.

I thought as much, wouldn’t of heard the end of it if it were true.

I like the bit where Taylor shat on them for leaving for 300k (a clause the club agreed with), and in the same thread they claim he isn't that good and will be back in League 1 shortly.... which sort of suggests 300k was the fair market value for him.

As for LJ not playing him... Well with Taylor being injured and the goals from Tammy, Bobby and FD9 over the last couple of years, most players would have struggled to start ahead of them.

They all thought he was great and a legend when he turnt oxford down to stay at the Mem though didn’t they, now he’s every name under the sun because he left for us to better himself though. Can’t have it both way Gasholes.

He’s had shit luck with injuries this season but if rumours are true and Bobby is off then I think we’ll see a lot more of MT next season and given a decent run of games I reckon he’ll do very well.

    Bitter, much?

No idea where their claim Taylor is on 16k a week comes from, I would be surprised if it was that high.

Blimey! They want ain’t Chips with their salt over there? Never seen a more bitter thread.

Noticed one of them mention MT on a video singing our version of Irene, anyone seen this? First I’ve heard of it.

Guess who is spending £1m on a new stand in time for the start of next season in League one?

    Yes its Accrington Stanley!

Sags won’t be jealous at all, they are getting ANOTHER tent after all, reading some of their comments some of them appear to like it now they are staying there, funny that ain’t it, and UWE was bland  yet a couple of years ago it was far better than ‘tarted up trashton gate’ and suddenly it was in the best interests of the club to turn UWE down, of course it was, all because that ever so lovely owner of theirs said so, it was all bull and they lapped it up as always, worst set of fans on this planet, they deserve Chernobyl.

Someone should ask what Mr Karim Mardam-Bey does at Bristol Rovers' £ 250 000 pa London office.

My guess would be scouring the capital with the begging bowl in hand desperately trying to seek investment. The New tent won’t pay for itself.

Surely enough time has now elapsed for Scotty Murray’s presentation photos to be released? I seem to remember it couldn’t be posted on otib as it would upset them too much or something

Given so few ever turn up to watch them I doubt we have anything to worry about if that is the route they wish to take  :rofl2br:

Their main problem imo is (also admitted by a few of their own) is the average age of their supporters that do actually attend, hardly any young un’s apparently, will bite them in the ass in a few years if this ‘evolution’ doesn’t evolve sooner rather than later.

Feng phooey prank cons the Rovers

A football club was caught offside when it fell for a feng shui scam at the hands of television pranksters.

Guy de Beaujeu and Patrick Stockhausen persuaded Bristol Rovers officials they could enhance the club's results by such devices as installing a fish tank containing plastic fish behind the goal and ordering staff to make sure all toilet seats were down at all times.

Their other requirements included erecting an ornamental ceramic frog above the stadium entrance, placing potted house plants in all four corners of the players' dressing room, and hanging wind chimes around the stadium.

Gullible staff carried out all the recommendations made by the "experts in the ancient Chinese art" in an effort to beat second division rivals Gillingham. But the mumbo jumbo failed to create the right aura - and Rovers lost 1-0.

Yesterday Mr De Beaujeu, 32, said: "They fell for it, hook, line and sinker. They did everything we asked without question."

Mr De Beaujeu and Mr Stockhausen, who are based in Bristol, staged the stunt for a comedy series, The Gatecrashers, which they filmed last year for ITV2.

One of their producers telephoned Bristol Rovers and told the club they were making a documentary about the power of feng shui.

The ancient art is believed to balance one's surroundings and induce general well-being.

Rovers agreed to let the pair into their Memorial Ground stadium in the hope that this might boost the team's performance.

The duo duly arrived with a cameraman two hours before the kick-off of Rovers' tie against Gillingham, armed with bags of supposed feng shui paraphernalia.

  11. Seems their development squad isn’t all that’s being made out, after hearing how great they are, I’ve discovered there were only 5/6 teams in the league and their top scorer is on loan from Stoke  also there’s a post on slagchat quoting a statement from one of their released youngsters dad, makes great reading tbf.

    Jobs for the boys.
